Fusion rifles are crap as hell
A video I found made by a wonderful Youtuber by the name of Th3Jez. It shows how shit fusions are even if you have a god tier roll. Telesto and Plan C are good, but holy hell are fusions right now crap. Well, enjoy and if you use a fusion, great, you little rebel you :)
Edit: wow, 100 replies already? Amazing! I've read your comments, I have misunderstood fusions, I've been using them wrongly this whole time. Thanks you guys for showing me how to be brave...with fusions.

1 RespuestaI haven't watched the video, but I'm taking a guess that the video opens up with an animation of the guy's name followed by some Dubstep. The person is flaming about fusion rifles, while not even using them correctly.

I had a lot of success, including triple kills, with the Telesto Fusion Rifle in Iron Banner. If they are in close, they get vaporized and if they are further out, the sticky explosion things can take out enemies pretty easy. You can just shoot the wall behind them or ground near someone and when they explode they do a lot of damage or kill outright. The triple kill I got was because I shot someone at a distance through a door way, they jumped back and the explosion killed them and 2 friends.

They can be quite good in the hands of an expert user. I used them all in year 1, and yes year 2 is a bit drab, but you can adapt a still wreck with them. Thesan is a beast, and so is the year 1 Plug One.

Thesan roll from the current vendor is pretty decent. Shut down a lot of people with that puppy.

1 RespuestaPlug.1 and wizard 77 in year 1 were the Golden age of destiny and the most fun I've had in the game running crucible. That first shotgun buff in year 1 changed thee gsme in a way that the game has never fully recovered from. After that it was felwinters snipers. Then they added rerolling and the matador 64.

Today I tried out my thesan fr4 with hotswap, braced frame and rangefinder. I could literally snipe people with it. I wouldn't be surprised if Bungie nerfed fusions again.

If you go in without knowing how to use it (even with a god roll) you'll suck with it. I would've hit those shots

4 RespuestasHonestly, i don't agree. The guy in the video is the worst fusion rifle user in the history of destiny, and not to mention that he's using the split shifter pro. If you actually know how to use a fusion rifle then they are pretty handy tools.

1 RespuestaAshraven's flight Thesan Susanoo Plus the exotic ones obv, all wreck in PVE and pvp if used properly. Takes a few games of pvp though to get timings right. As long as it's not the raid one, god awful!

Darkblades fusion rifle tears into people. Wish I had AC on it to but did not get a good roll.

Just yestersay i managed to get a kill with a fusion rifle from so far away on this guy that was shadestepping. It was so incredibly satisfying, especially as he was the biggest tryhard. Fusions arnt bad, they just takes lots of skill to properly use with only mild results. Unlike snipers, shotguns or exotic handcannons.

The IB, trials and the 300 quest fusion rifle are the best rolls out there. If you get long far gone wiht range finder, hidden hand and braced fram, is the BEST fusion rifle out there. Almsot the vanilla pre enrf OP AF ones
