Is there any point grinding to 320?
I have a 319, and 2 317's...
I just don't feel the urge to have my time wiped on an update.
Thoughts?

1 RespuestaExactly. My 3 toons are over 315, so I see no point in trying to grind to 320 when a light level increase is inbound That's why I'm chilling out, and taking a break until then.
-
Time to relax, up the grim score a little and no need to fret about the raids I think. Division shall give me some peace and a refreshing change until the new stuff drops. I look forward to the new dlc but I'm worried it will be a rushed convention re hash from recent changes of roadmap - with any luck the developers have been working on it for the last 5 months but I won't get my hopes up. Until then, time to focus on photography =)

315+ is fine. My hunter will remain 319 until the update unless I can get a 320 chest and cloak
-
1 RespuestaThere wasn't a point to it before they announced the dlc. If you really wanted it before you should still want it now just to say you did it.
-
As long as there is nothing to aquire by reaching max light, there will never be a purpose for reaching it.
-
There's never ever been a reason to grind to max level, they always up the max and make old shit irrelevant, except for HoW, the best expansion imo
-
Probably no point, but doing my raid runs to get 320 is the only reason I've even touched this game for months now so I keep doing it....lol.
-
You know the feeling you get when a 320 light weapon or piece of gear drop? Once they raise the light level...that feeling will go away:(
-
2 RespuestasThere never was. What can a 320 do that a 315+ can't? The madness over max light grind is... Madness.
-
I find it impossible to believe that Bungie will allow the update to make the raid or ToO or even IB a req (ie being above 310-315) to play the "new" content. So my guess, vendors will reset selling 320+ light gear. So no, not worth it.
-
I have characters at 320, 319 and 318 (when equipped with my highest light gear) but usually run most activities at around 315 or under. I don't think there is much of a notable increase in attack/defense after 315. Just my opinion.
-
1 RespuestaWhen was there ever? No activity in Destiny is set at 320 light.
-
I'm basically the same as you 1 319 two 318 I basically gave up, all I do now is screw around
-
5 RespuestasThat's up to you. It's no different than grinding to 30 in vanilla, 32 in TDB and 34 in HoW. Except that all three of those caps were easier to reach.
-
There was never a point to get 320 other than making people jealous of your RNG
-
3 RespuestasGame is starting to depress me lol sick of everything becoming useless - just want to chill and enjoy. I'm looking forward to finally getting new content but the updates appear to be so sparce the grind is real and replay ability is waining. I hope relevance can be kept for the future to enjoy all aspects of this game once more for a greater hook at returning each week for all the activities.
-
2 RespuestasI am tired of increasing light levels making my gear useless and creating more grind. Please stop padding the content and let my favorite gear remain useful.
-
It's a personal thing
-
Well unless someone is really new here, it shouldn't come as a surprise everything else will be useless.
-
1 RespuestaSounds pointless to me.. Depends if you wanna hit it as a personal goal.
-
I just play for shits, if I hit 320 awesome if not so what. There is no difference that I can tell from 316 to 320.
-
Play for fun if you like, but don't worry about grinding.
