What does bungi mean by suicide pacts?
So what is the game looking for here? Just any 7 legit games? What if you accidentally back peddle off a ledge in a fire fight? Are you screwed out of the ghost? What if you already completed 7 legit games but was suicide farming after? Are you screwed? What is another team steam rolls you with a 5 and 0 and you couldn't get any kills? Are you screwed out of the ghost?

5 RespuestasBungie literally keep track of everything you do in game, one update they released a heat map of where people jumped the most in a trials map. So basically they can tell if you actually tried to play and lost all round or of you just killed yourself. Former you get rewards latter you don't. Seeing as they said you need to play at least 7 matches there is literally no point in playing the event now.

13 Respuestas[b]This needs to be answered[/b], they shouldn't have just said "suicide pacts" without going into detail about what that means. Its most defiantly possible to lose a game just as quick as it is to suicide at the start, especially on maps where Touch of Malice is the only way of killing yourself. You could say it doesn't matter, just play the match as you should, but it does matter. Especially if you lose a match 5-0 and you stop playing because you assume you have 7 completed matches, but the game screws you over because it thinks you suicided due to the match ending too fast or your team not getting any/enough kills for it to count. They probably won't address this, but they should take things like this into consideration from now on and not be so vague.

I hope the suicide farmers don't get anything even if they completed the quest before suiciding. I'm a casual and was able to complete the quest and bounties all legit. I farmed for ghost by actually trying to win. My doubles partner got 2 304 chocolate ghost as well as a couple regular ghost. I haven't had a single ghost of any kind drop for me but it wasn't making me mad/upset enough to consider trying to cheat the system.

In CD, people would just jump off the nearest edge of the map till the game was over. You get the same chance for the rewards. Pretty smart if u ask me

1 RespuestaSince they didn't define "suicide pact". I think it was just a scare tactic to get people to stop suicide farming for ghost. I'm guessing they have some hidden stat log watching CD and its screwing up the numbers.

I think if you at least deal damage to the other team you'd be fine. Plus the game tracks Suicider's since it says who killed you.

2 RespuestasThe easiest way to make sure you get the goat they offered is by completing the bounties. You HAVE to offer played 7+ matches. I think that will be a determining factor. Even if you get steam rolled, if you manage to eliminate an opponent the game should recognize it as a completed game. Don't sweat so much on the small stuff.

I believe if the other team kills them selves you shouldn't get penalized for it. That wouldn't be fair. Not their fault! If your the team that does the suicide for all 5 round and then some. You won't be eligible to get the 320 ghost.

If you expect Bungie to reveal exactly what you need to not do so you can try to bypass it, then you are being ridiculous. If you play a full game, you'll get it counted.

We need a bungievision rep to clarify this. Odds are, you won't get a ghost if attempt anything they mention. Or...they'll just decide to take thier word back. They already proven this many times before. Best thing to do is. Play CD, expect nothing, expect no ghost after event ends. And if you somehow get a ghost. Thank god RNG was on your side.

2 RespuestasPeople are using touch of malice to end matches quicker to get to the rewards screen. It doesn't matter if you win or lose the rewards are the same.

4 RespuestasThey clearly stated if you have played 7 llegit games, you will get one. There are probably people out there that didn't play, heard about this method, and only suicides the matches. I actually had fun playing the matches, never suicided
