Don't tell me I cant play Destiny!!
So here it is...
In the last week I've been told to GTFO and [b]not[/b] play Destiny!. Apparently I'm not the type of player Destiny needs!.
You see, I admitted I was a casual. That I played for fun. That I wasn't very good but just ran a few strikes, a few bounties, let off some steam and then went back to other things in my life.
Then I was told that, because I have coordination and reflex issues after two strokes, and that means I find getting jumping right very difficult, that [b]I can't play Destiny and I was just sad [/b] so I should find another game to play!
So, let's get this straight. A game with a decreasing player base has elitist try hard morons actually trying to order people [b]off[/b] the game!
Way to go!
There are some great players and people in Destiny. But I don't go around telling people they can't do the raid or can't go to the lighthouse because they are too good. I don't ask them to carry me or demand they do everything for me in a raid so I can say I've done it.
So what gives you the right to tell me I can't play a game I've paid for ?.
Get over yourselves. It's a game. We all play it how we want and when we want. We get out of it what we put in. How I play doesn't hurt you (rarely play PvP in case someone wants to whine about me [b]hurting the team[/b] and these days I'm very rarely the worst player (odd that)!
Perhaps if you worried less about how others play you'd actually enjoy it more instead of going around ordering people about.
I like Destiny. I'd like to continue my journey with the game and franchise but driving people away really doesn't help my, or I suspect your, prospects of that happening!

Take a look at my pvp KD for doubles. Some bad, but most realky good. I have adhd and i couldnt telm you how many times my partner had to get my attention back. I end uo getting distracted, coming back and murdering people while the guy that was getting pissy because i kept forgetting about the game did not go 1 round without dying

1 RespuestaJust find some friends or a group that's more friendly. Last time I checked one bad group experience or group of trolls on a forum isn't an indicator of the the entire player bad. Suggestion 1: -blam!- Nightsisters. I hate it. Suggestion 2: Grab your TOM and have them put you in the middle with a Titan. One Titan is fine if the plates throw a nade or give an ogre a pop.

1 RespuestaI'm a VERY casual player. So I just play with my friends when I play to avoid elitists. Usually just on the weekends. I don't personally think I'm too bad. PvP isn't my strongpoint but I've been getting better. I just gotta go ghost hunting and maybe finally see if I can get Vex to drop and I'll be accepted by them.

At least you have an excuse for having difficulties at the sister jumping section. I'm just crap at it. I would say that you should try and stop getting bothered by negative comments on forums. A lot of the time it's just people trying to provoke a reaction. -

It's amazing how you can be wandering around and see someone doing something. You know exactly what they're trying to accomplish without verbal communication. Like when I see someone running laps around an area collecting spin metal or helium filaments, I know they're collecting for their sword. I'll put on a ghost that detects the stuff and help them out. I've gone to the court of oryx for no other reason than to see if there are people over there that need help. I'd like to think that by being selfless it will convince them to pay it forward. Some people are hopeless. I have had more good experiences than bad. Some people have me laughing audibly at my tv. The thing is I remember the funny helpful people. The crappy little twerps are forgettable. In fact, I don't even attempt to play with them.

All the comments like "get good", "watch a video", "learn the mechanics" etc, don't help when I simply don't have the finger dexterity or hand / eye coordination to do well at all the jumping puzzles and stuff like that. I found some really cool people to play with who care more about friendships and the experience itself. Play how you want and don't worry about the rest. Look me up if you wanna hang. Besides, my clan enjoys laughing while I take multiple tries to clear the ships or piston room in the raid. Eventually one of them just comes back to jump with me, and they say that they don't mind at all

I'm a casual player. I'm not 15 and have mommy and daddy around to pay my bills. I work full time and as soon as summer hits video games become last of my priorities. Those kids that say shot like that will be virgins till there 40 anyway. Don't take em serious.
