Free ghost = bungie is desperate
I hate to post this shit but I'm calling bungie out here. That free 320 ghost is desperate marketing at its finest. I guess player log in time has been decreasing of late (no duh, where is our PvE content) bc throwing a 320 item out for free will certainly get people to come back even if it is just to get 7 matches completed. Then bungie can have an article posted about how log in rate has never been higher. Cmon bungie just give us another PvE related dlc, I don't care if I have to pay for it. I'm tired of doing the same raid over and over and over again!!
*edit: well hell this certainly blew up last night. Glad to see I've rustled some jimmies by posting something controversial! Too bad half the criticism is in the form of squeakers and die hard desticles bad mouthing everyone left and right that goes against their precious belief that this game is inherently good.

I think the numbers must have been a worry for Bungie, I can't help but feel they are using events like this and Rift in Iron Banner to gather data for certain reasons or to test changes to the netcode. It's hard to test in the normal playlists because none of them have a particularly high population. These events funnel players together, but there was already so much wrong with this events' set up that the low interest must have scared them. They should have just upped the drop rates and narrowed the light level spectrum to increase the higher light levels. That would have been enough. Its nice that those wanting a 320 Ghost will be happy, I just hope we get Class items from somewhere soon as that's all I need!

13 RespuestasI'm happy bungie is finally trying to get some players back but a ghost isn't the way. After about 50+ runs (3 per week) I'm still 319. But not because of a ghost. I have like 5 320 ghosts. They need a new raid and fast. The way I see it is if we don't get a new raid (please bring back VoG) atleast every 4 months it gets stale fast. I know that's almost no time but with how small (yes, Destiny is a small size game because it isn't open world, its instanced based) this game is its mandatory that they add new content (big content, not pvp events, not everyone enjoys this games pvp). But these are my thoughts, I loved vanilla Destiny and I want to love it again but its not going to happen with little pvp stuff. OH hears a idea! How about (insert Patrick picture here) we take all of the story from the grimour cards and put them in the game! But don't listen to me. I'm not a Dev. (Again no hate, just upset with how they went along with this game)

Dude there are players out there such as my self who played I know over 70 matches and I got both shaders and the emblem. But I only had one shell drop for me my buddy played way more than that and still has not dropped either. when bungie change the night fall so a ghost was not dropping every nightfall they seen it messed with the key thing in Crimson doubles as well so it's a sorry from them accept it. And think them kindly for once and quit crying me myself I need a 320 and one of the biggest reason I keep playing was for the hope it would drop for me.
