Free ghost = bungie is desperate
I hate to post this shit but I'm calling bungie out here. That free 320 ghost is desperate marketing at its finest. I guess player log in time has been decreasing of late (no duh, where is our PvE content) bc throwing a 320 item out for free will certainly get people to come back even if it is just to get 7 matches completed. Then bungie can have an article posted about how log in rate has never been higher. Cmon bungie just give us another PvE related dlc, I don't care if I have to pay for it. I'm tired of doing the same raid over and over and over again!!
*edit: well hell this certainly blew up last night. Glad to see I've rustled some jimmies by posting something controversial! Too bad half the criticism is in the form of squeakers and die hard desticles bad mouthing everyone left and right that goes against their precious belief that this game is inherently good.

Desperate? Probably not. Worried? Definitely. Free 320 ghosts? Why not? Enjoy it.

Bungie is not desperate, they are just stupid. Easy fix, increase the drop rate for ghost and only reward winning teams (no ghost for you suicide squad) people would still play. By telling everyone "play 7 games and you are guaranteed a 320 ghost" everyone has stopped playing once said goals have been reached.

Thought about it...still not loging in I loved Destiny...played non stop in Y1...supported the loss of gear/guns in Y2 but not gonna bother even for a free ghost My Titan is 314...I don't raid anymore, so no reason to care about LL really Maybe new content will drag me back...maybe

Guess what - your free 320 ghost will be meaningless in a month. Just enjoy it and stop thinking Bungie is hurting.

The 320 doubles ghost is just like when xur sold the ghorn. Its an effort to get people grinding to get something they really want and then a few weeks later that 320 shell is now like a 289 shell.

I think the only ones complaining are the ones who rubber banded their controller for hours and got a lucky drop. Now they don't feel special any more

2 RespuestasI probably played 50 matches between my 3 characters and never even seen a ghost drop, although I got both shaders. This lets me get back to my challenge modes and trials so I'm happy. Some people just like complaining for the hell of it.

So all you had to do is complete the crimson days quest ( the emblem one ) to get a free 320 ghost on the 23rd

One guy posting his opinion isn't the entire community responding to something. Nor is it anything to get wound up about. Relax, he has a right to express his opinion. It's weak as -blam!-, but it's still his opinion to have. Worst case scenario, everybody that participates in playing 7 games of CD will get a guaranteed 320 ghost. How is this bad again?

You still have to endure 7 matches.....it's not like you login and get Obama hand outs.
