Update is posted. Fall expansion, 2017 sequel.
Will current gear ascend to new Light Levels?
Will there be a new raid?
Will the sequel feature a dedicated in-game lfg system?

7 RespuestasI think a bigger issue is this: Bungie expects you to be happy and content with the most minimalistic of viable content that you have right now, [b]for months[/b], until the next "expansion" releases. Which, as we all know from every single past Bungie "expansion"; will make all previous content unplayable. Weapons/armors will disappear from availability, new weapons/armors will be weaker than you have now. They might have a higher Light level, but in stats/perks, they will be much weaker. Expect to have several missions in the Dreadnought that you'll have to run backwards. Also expect the same from previously explored areas on Earth, Moon, Mars, and Venus. And they'll most likely charge everyone $40 again to have yet more content removed from the game. It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic...

In 2017... ...half a new video game will be released at full price... ...but it will include all prior content for free.... ...so if you were a loyal player....you'll pay even more for less.

I'm loving how they addressed the ghost preview not loading "it appears in game when you summon your ghost so it's okay" it's not okay.. How do new year 3 players inspect it and see what cool shit we earned in year one if the damn ghost doesn't load?

Here are your answers: Will current gear ascend to new Light Levels? No. King's Fall Challenge Mode will now be released in truth, featuring 330 light harrowed gear that was supposed to be released since last year, but which they scammed the community by releasing King's Fall CHORE mode which we have now. The actual challenge mode will have higher light enemies, and maybe some new mechanics like the differences we saw between normal and heroic. Will there be a new raid? No. The previous answer basically covers all this Will the sequel feature a dedicated in game lfg system? That depends on how much the community wants this, and is willing to use their wallets to do the talking for them Will the expansion cost $ or is it a free add-on? The release of the spring content aka "Challenge Mode" will more likely than not be free because they aren't smart enough to figure any way to get the community to pay for it, but there will be some tidy micros in the making to try to get something out of the community although this content was already paid for with the purchase of the taken king. But it's Bunglevision, the extra is always welcome. The major content drop later this year will definitely cost $. I would guess somewhere between $20 and $40 depending on how much content they are going to be putting in to hold the community over until destiny 2. This is not speculation. I have observed Bunglevision and their devious and unethical business tactics for over a year now, these are all spot on. I would tell you wait for the weekly update or what the -blam!- ever Deej decides to call it next, but we all know that's going to be a laughable article that won't be worth the pixels it is printed on

If you go onto the bungie armoury you can see the defence levels on the hunter raid helm (Harrowed) is up to 330. If that's the raise I will be dissapointed..

Just look at how many years it took them to make the original and the fact that its first two expansions reused assets from the main game and re purposed content cut from the original game and still managed to be rather light in content and brief in duration. There is simply no way they can make a full sequel that is worth a damn or has any of the player requested features in such a short time.

I'll play the next PvE DLC if it's free, but ONLY if it's free. Now, since the word "significant" was attached to it many places, this thing has got to have at very least the content level of TTK, meaning a few hours of missions, a raid, and major new features or extreme overhauls for the subclasses. Now ask yourself if you really think they're going to give us something TTK-sized for free... Lol, k, because that would for sure mean that the majority of it has literally just been sitting around unused after it was cut from Y1. No chance the skeleton crew left behind to tend to D1 along with the Live team put together that amount of content from scratch while the majority of the studio works on D2. By the way, if D2 doesn't have dedicated servers, Bungie can piss off. So yea, I'll give it another go, but they're going to be held to quite the standard now in my eyes, especially when I have The Division, Overwatch, and Uncharted 4 all on the horizon.

Heres my response to this: I honestly want ALL equipment to be able to ascend to new light levels, year 1 & 2 I honestly want a raid that I can legitimately solo, the other 2 are impossible to solo while crotas end is cheesable. An in game LFG can work, you can put up a mission/bounty for someone to join your game, you can put up up to 3 bounties and they cancel out if you return to orbit. each bounty will cost a player set amount of glimmer that will act as a reward for people who join, rewards will be granted if you're in the game when the mission, strike or raid is complete. you can not join into a game while you're in a darkness zone, therefore removing the chance of someone joining in when the final boss is at 10% health, and getting a full reward. We need to bring back old nightfall aspects.
