It's not Y1 weapons, just Thorn. Hand Cannons are supposed to reward well-placed precision shots, but Thorn (TLW is just as guilty) is more efficient when spraying your opponent with body shots. I can't understand how people ever got the notion that this takes more skill than getting headshots with any other primary weapon. There's that, and the number of people that lose the first round using whatever, then switch to Thorn because they can't win with anything else.
