How do I "git gud" at dark souls II?
I just started playing and I'm at Heide's flaming tower. There was a big guy with a sword who accidentally swung himself off the ledge, but then there's a guy with a mace that I can't kill. Suggestions?
Edit: After many deaths and controlled kneeslaps of anger, I finally killed the dragon rider, then I went and killed the last giant. I'm currently lvl 38 and I have about 13000 souls + soul consumables. Will decide what to do with them tomorrow.
