No special at start? Wow
I can't believe bungie caved in to the whiners and complainers of destiny again. Now matches in crucible are going to start even slower because of the"no special on match start" crap. Oh and hey for everyone who farmed out there double sniper or shotgun armor to start with more in matches you got screwed over big time. Thanks bungie, you've killed your game even more.
Edit- For all you weak ass kids talking shit with your depressingly mediocre kds you might as well stfu, you're the ones who get wrecked by snipers/ shotguns all day and bitch about how snipers aim assist is to high or last word hits to hard. You're a part of the problem, and I'm one of the people who have to deal with bungies constant nerfs to guns and ammo but it's okay. The good players will stay good and all you noobs will still bitch. I hope you enjoy eating my bullets.

Well it depends on what constitutes a good player honestly. If it's the type that hoards special ammo and uses nothing but their special weapon then expect good players to turn mediocre at best. Otherwise yes good players will stay good players that's a given. It's a matter of those deluded into thinking that they are good finding that they aren't and growing out of that. Pro tip for those that are, the sooner the better.

I do like that there will be more of a variety of weapons being used in trials. Most of the time the only things used are snipers. Don't get me wrong it's gonna suck not being able to snipe in the first round but it's good that it's gonna have more primary action in it

The Sniper AA issue is way overblown. TLW is fine. ^Those are my beliefs. But I still believe that the No special starts, is a good thing.

They shouldn't even play crucible to begin with but I guess a vast majority are forced to considering the lack of PVE content. Changes like this make me wonder if there was any point doing back-to-back Heroic Strikes to try and get the perfect 1000-yard stare I wanted and therefore rids the game of one of the few motivations left to play. As much as I agree though man, you definitely could've said it much cleaner. You shouldn't lower yourself to the standards of all these half-wits who call you "salty" or "low-skilled" or whatever. Giving your Trials stats which are your most prevalent, you shouldn't have an issue since special spawns roughly 40 seconds each round. So every round following the first you can pick off snipes as you would normally anyway. Lmao when people keep saying "you're going to have to rely on skill now" specifically poking at sniping when sniping is actually one of the most skill-required weapons to use in a versatile manner. Anyone who doesn't use a sniper is most likely a shotgun and user, and yeahhhhhhhh that takes soooooooooooo much more skill to kill someone by pressing the trigger at point blank. What's funny is that people are just going to constantly complain about Mida, TLW and Thorn now.

I think you're wrong. I think this new change will be interesting. There will be no revive snipes the first round - maybe 2 rounds. I think we will see a lot less TLW users. I think we will actually see less Mida users, it doesn't perform well enough mid/close range. I think ARs will become popular again. I think armor with extra ammo perks will be more important than they used to be. And if everyone hops on the invective/icebreaker train, there will be a lot less Midas out there.

Special ammo nerf was necessary. OHK weapons are for streaks not the entire match. They're a reward for map dominance. If you want this game to ever become competitive this is one of the steps in the right direction.

This was a necessary improvement. I think most would say that pvp should be about primary first. This is a return to form.
