BRING BACK WEAPON REFORGING
Vote if you want Legendary weapon reforging back.

My opinion on the reforge exchange:
[spoiler]You can only reforge weapons on Armsday.
Your Gunsmith rank will determine how many times you can reforge a single weapon on Armsday - for instance, rank 5 you can reforge a single weapon 5 times.
The exchange rate should be a hefty amount so people can't abuse the reforge system like they could in House of Wolves - for example, 1,000 Glimmer, 5 Legendary Marks, 5 Motes, and 10 Weapon parts - or you must provide a duplicate of the weapon you want to reforge to infuse that weapon with, then you'd have to wait until next Armsday with the 3 options of perk combinations to choose from. Something like that.
If anything, at least bring back reforging in Iron Banner.
Please consider reintroducing reforging, Bungie.

1 RespuestaYes but with restrictions (even though I would prefer freedom). You will be able to re roll the entire gun or by each individual perk for a fixed amount of legendary marks. For example rerolling the entire gun will cost 150 legendary marks when rerolling one perk will cost 50 legendary marks. However this can only be done once per week(on armsday only). Requirements for reforging are • 50-150 legendary marks • 30-90 weapon parts • 1800-5400 glimmer • 25-75 motes of light

Weapon reforging means that good perks get nerfed , simple as that . Look at shot package , it was the best perk to get on a shotgun for PvP . What made it balanced was the low chance of someone getting it . Then they introduced reforging , it pushed every shotguns range beyond what was intended , and they had to change it . When you have perks that are better than others , all reforging does is let everyone have the same perks . Don't come at me with " oh, but people will have different playstyles and perks " . No . Shotpackage , aggressive ballistics , luck in the chamber , and a range upgrades were all you saw because it was the best . So , it got nerfed . The same can be said for almost all weapons . It reduces diversity in perks and weapons . If you have a bad a weapon with fantastic perks , you might actually use it . But if you have reforging , it doesn't matter . I agree it does not affect balance - if everyone has the same guns , it is a fair fight . Finally , it reduces the need for gear . In HoW, I had 3 of shotgun element with full auto ,1 PvP shotgun , snipers of all elements , etc . I was done, I needed nothing more . I was not excited for new gear . I do agree however gear needs to drop far more frequently . Think of this - suddenly , all gear drops are doubled . Does it sound like too much ? If the answer is no , there's a problem .

1 Respuesta75 legendary marks, must have duplicate of exact same gun to "infuse", can only reroll 5th column, gunsmith rank determines number of RNG'd options. Gunsmith rank determines number of guns you can do. I think it would be nice to add a small bit of personalisation but not too much. Can't reforge exotics. Can't reforge any one gun more than once.

4 RespuestasIf they bring it back, it needs to have limits. The problem during House of Wolves was everyone rolled their guns over and over again until they got "perfect rolls". This made loot drops feel less rewarding. I would say you get 3 chances to roll your weapon and you need a lot of materials and a glass needle type item for each roll. Once your roll it for the third time, no more re-rolling the weapon. Your stuck with what you get.

With them knowing that they will make those rolls extremely rare to happen for more worthless grinding and time on their servers and blame it on "RNG" lol
