Honestly this has got to be the most fun I've ever had in Iron Banner
Rift is such a fun game mode and the connection has never been smoother and the lobbies have never been this chill. I'm not sweating after a match anymore. Best Iron Banner yet IMO
Whats the Community's thoughts on this? anyone else loving this?

I haven't had this much fun playing pvp in destiny since ToO came out. I joined a match down 4K and came back to win last second with me getting the spark right at the rift and gave enough points for the win. I was so pumped after that match!

2 RespuestasRift is the best 6v6 game mode. However I would prefer rotating thru all 6v6 playlists so at least everyone gets what they like on rotation.

1 RespuestaYeah it's been pretty good blast so far. I really thought it would be shit but happy to say I'm wrong. I run solo. Played 19 games so far and won 13 of them. Some great games and some total car crashes but I've managed to ignite the Rift 14/15 times and completed all 3 Gold Bounty's (except get to Rank 4). You just gotta be aggressive with the spark capture. Looking forward this weekend!

I'll say this, never played much rift before, but I'm getting better at it and agree that is you at least have a team of 2 or more it's more fun

Rift is the worse. Dumb mechanics. Terrible spawns and scoring makes no sense. When you spawn literally 5 times either in front of a super, heavy or someone scoring the rift, how are you suppose to respond to that? It's not just one game it's multiple either me doing it to the other team or them to me. Then the whole one spot both teams fight to camp just to grab the spark and push one team back into their spawn where you either score or get close and die and your team has the advantage to grab the camping again. Doesn't make sense to me and is not fun. But I love destiny and endure the pain for IB. Bungie needs to either fix Rift in general or change IB to be random 6v6 game types. This shit is terrible.

Wasnt fun going solo. But i had a team of 6 today and we won 5/6 matches it was awesome.

I was just thinking the same thing this morning. Played IB all day Wednesday and Thursday. Have absolutely loved it.

Yea. It's also fun when the other team sucks so you can keep scoring the spark into the rift lol.

It's fun, but the damn game mode kills k/d if you plan to run.

It's been pretty fun for me, too. Although I definitely did [i]not[/i] have very many good games last I played... It was still fun. I remember seeing 'back in action' so often... if anyone heard a loud crashing sound,[b] that was my heart breaking[/b].

I am having a lot of fun when both teams are really on par with each other :D My only complaint is just the matchmaking sometimes puts teams with 313+ light with teams that only has one at 310.

Haven't tried it myself, I will in a bit. But the thread opinion seems 50/50. So that must mean it's getting somewhere. Much better than the landslide of "WTF BUNGIE!?" The other day.
