do the opposite of the guy in the video. what you watched is someone who literally hard scoped the entire match. see the jumping up on boxes, sneaking around sniping guys that aren't even looking on the relic? that is hard scoping. come play with or against me and i will show you how to snipe aggressively. my absolute favorite map to play on is the anomaly: the staple shotgun map. nothing better than sniping shotgunners. anyone can snipe on a big map. just find a head glitch and play passive as hell, sniping choke points, heavy, etc. All of those things are effective, but your question was how not to be a hard scoper. i respect that question and desire you have very much. guys that snipe like this guy in the video give snipers a bad name. you will very rarely see someone come on the forums and complain about snipers when a guy keeps sniping him point blank range or very quickly. almost without exception, it is the hard scopers that get complaints, and rightfully so

You my friend would be very hard to headshot, I don't know where I would shoot Lets see how urbandictionary.com defines hard scoping: HARD SCOPING: "When you use a sniper rifle like it should be used and actually aim using the sights. Seen to be inferior to its counter-part Quick Scoping as the shot isn't determined by luck or a glitch in the game. Also the only real method of sniping in reality."

it wasn't meant as an insult. the kid asked a question. my answer to it is honest and correct. but for the record, there are not only two options: no scoping and hard scoping. there is an area in between. when people bitch about hard scoping, they are not saying they don't want you to aim. they are referring to the entire playstyle displayed in this video. you have tlw equipped, which is my weapon of choice, but yet basically never get within a quarter mile of anyone. you just slinked around the outskirts of the map the whole time shooting distracted targets after pre aiming choke points for a minute at a time. tl;dr: you can aim without hard scoping

Oh ok that makes more sense I guess... I don't know why people don't just call it the real thing instead though... Just call it passive sniping play. But then again even if you called it that it wouldn't explain how I always hunt for my kills instead of camping hiding spots. Some people just hate that style but they can't call it camping so they call it hardscoping... This seems to me like a confusion for nothing... But I did missunderstand you so sorry about that. Btw I changed the post so much now people will only be able to hate on the gameplay and stop worrying about words, I can't wait!

Yea I would say use NLB too. I practice with it in crucible as much as I can. I have a 75% headshot kill with it now so ive gotten quite good with it, eventually use thousand yard stare and you'll see the big difference and how easy sniping is. Thousand yard has a lot of target assist compared to other snipers

Play with no land beyond for a while. It will make u learn to snipe on every place, not the silly 0.4 kds hardscoping
if u challenge a hardscoper and win, he's a damn noob
Yes. I have been watching RealKraftyy on twitch for a long time and he is where I learn my techniques. But I'm still going to try to answer since you asked... First, imitate kraftyy on all levels... 1. No control freeks and a 3 sensitivity (never change it) 2. I personally find using r1 for shooting to be better than r2 (reduces my reaction time) - learned that from COD pros (you can swap it in PS4 accessibility settings) 3. You have to build your reflexes over thousands and thousands of kills (to me sniping someone is like catching a ball thrown at me at high speed, the aiming happens by itself) 4. Also the brain learns when watching someone else perform the actions you want to learn, so hours and hours of watching someone like RealKraftyy are necessary if you want to hit those dank 420 no scopes some day ;-)

Editado por Jeepack: 1/29/2016 2:58:36 AMI completly forgot: USE FIREFLY!!!!!!!!!!! Firefly will give your brain an extra reward for every sniper headshot (seeing the ennemy explode) This does crazy effects to your dopamine levels and will help your get better IMO It's just more satisfying and that helps with the learning curve
