Twice last night I finish in the top two with only one or two kills as I was the designated runner for the team.
My score was a clear country mile from those in second or third. Each time I dropped no loot.
On one of the games one of our players had a shocker and on got 2 kills two and was at the bottom of the leaderboard. This game everyone else apart from me and him dropped loot.
Seems that someone hasn't changed the algorithm in the loot drop to be based on score as opposed to number of kills. Which is pretty lame for some one who is fully focuses on the objective.
Maybe it was just rng but it seemed too much of a coincidence with it happening twice.

RNGesus doesn't love all his children. The Engram Priest told me so when I went to Confessional last night.
-
not true. I played all o yesterday and not one game someone on my team had more kills than me. many times my friends got the drops where as I did not
-
Why would they? If youre designated runner out going to end up with more points anyway? You think because a team let's you do that you should get better drops ?
-
The RNG is based from skill but not like you or most people like. It tries to give players new loot who need it. If it see you're getting 50 kills a match why would you want new loot when someone who can use it actually wants it ? I know every time I get a new gun it doesn't matter because I have something better already.

Editado por Ahhsenberg: 1/28/2016 2:25:52 PMWhat's the point of this post? It's RNG... and you have said this yourself. Such stupidity, much wow. There's no method to it as it's... wait for it... RANDOM.
-
Loot drops are not based on anything besides space magic.
-
2 RespuestasI get allmost allways the most kills on my team. 15 matches 0 iron banner loot dropps.

I like the optimism, but you're digging in the wrong hole. This is destiny rng we're talking about. For your safety, don't try to look into a thought process that isn't there.
I speak from experience on this one.
It's random always has been. There is no secret to get loot
-
Totally random. I spawned into a mercy game. 0 kills 0 score. Got a pair of boots.
-
# of kills isn't relevant in rift (unless no one is playing the objective)

1 Respuesta"On one of the games one of our players had a shocker and on got 2 kills two and was at the bottom of the leaderboard. This game everyone else apart from me and him dropped loot." Can someone translate this for me? All I know is that yesterday I had three games in a row where I had 32, 30, and 28 kills which led the team and I didn't get jack. So....yeah.

Editado por PresidenteBush: 1/28/2016 1:43:21 PMWe had a free win where we got dropped into an empty match and instantly got a win. 0 kills, 0 captures, 0 anything Two of us got Scout Rifles, another got boots. It's safe to say your theory is not correct. Drops are completely random and not dependent on performance in any sense of the word. The only thing that matters is your IB rank, as it is IB rank that determines the eligibility for postgame drops. I believe you start getting drops at Rank 2.

1 Respuestatwo whole games? WOW, HUGE SAMPLE SIZE. This data is confirmed.
-
It's normally the guy with no kills that gets the loot so I don't see your point here.
-
Dude 90% of the time that I place in the top two highest scoring I usually get nothing for it. More often than not the person with the most kills seems to get crap. Normally it's thst one ahole who sat afk or killed 2 people that gets the best loot, seen it happen so many times....
-
2 RespuestasYour sample size is two games?

It's rng. How you perform has nothing to do with it. Bungie said themselves in an old weekly update.
