Pretty simple. I absolutely hate this. It's the very worst thing I've ever experienced in any game.
Not. Even. Joking.
I can see for a team of 6 friends that this would be fun, but I run solo in crucible. Always have. And I've never experienced anything as awful as this.
To those who say "well go find a team scrub" I simply reply... No. I don't want to, don't tell me how to play this game.

I adore rift, even here. I love running the spark. It's still possible to score if your team sucks, but it all depends on if the opposing team doesn't really know what they're doing too.

2 Respuestas24% of the people love it. Looks like 24% of the people who voted are Bungie employees

I was playing solo until my friends got on and got annihilated going against fireteams. Then they were on and we never lost a game. We probably mercy ruled 25% of these games. Bungie, that's the problem and it's what everyone here was saying from the moment it was announced. Rift is best done on a team and quickly becomes very one sided. Rift is a bad experience for most of these folks. Not cool

1 RespuestaRift is a very bad choice for iron banner. It just gets really tedious after 5 or 6 games.
-
I enjoy it a lot; teamwork isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. But nonetheless the existence of teams makes the outcome of the match incredibly biased. I think clash is the best choice for iron banner.
-
This is a weird IB. I've had hardly any close matches. Either we annihilate the opposition or vice versa. Also matchmaking is -blam!-ed. I've been in a game where there was a 280 and 318.
-
I can get why some people would like Rift, but I prefer classic control Iron Banner.

HORRIBLE...

2 RespuestasEditado por joey big guns: 1/28/2016 6:04:31 PM75% hate it and I'm sure more ppl will join in the Rift hate parade which is why Bungie chose it. They can't do the intelligent, logical thing like put in a mode the community wants, it has to be what the devs want because they're the ones who bought the millions of copies, oh wait they didn't we did. It should be our decision. Iron Banner should be Clash and Control and in the matchmaking lobby we should be able to decide. It takes forever to load a team anyway, might as well let us choose our game mode while we're waiting in orbit.

1 RespuestaI've played enough rift and enough iron banner to know how this will turn out. Laggy full parties dominating solo players. So far, nothing is luring me back to this disaster of a game.
-
2 RespuestasUsing the Rift in an event like IB is horrible. Never played sooooo many one sided games that either ended early or split players up afterwards.
-
Section 618 and vertigo where the popular rng maps in my play section last night. Other than the maps I'm having no problem with rift.
-
7 RespuestasAnyone else get stuck on black shield every other match?
-
8 RespuestasThen don't complain about a mode that very obviously is about teamwork and team coordination. This would be like a vegetarian complaining about the quality of the beef in a hamburger they ordered, then reminding everyone they are a vegetarian.
-
I've been playing with one team mate, and we've been having an awful time. I also have to say I loathe the new matchmaking.

Editado por EagleofShadows1: 1/28/2016 3:38:54 PMI have been going in by myself. I don't like it, but I don't hate. Hate reasons - Go against a full fire team is no fun. Same issue with control last time Bad Runners grabbing spark. I'll admit I am within this group but I have good and bad runs. However iron banner's level difference can make all the world of difference. People sitting in a spawn area after the objective has been met. Either with or without heavy. AND yes this goes for my team as well. I get one extra kill then I leave. Love reasons - Interesting game type. Control or clash are my usual crucible types. Fun and interesting tactics can for each map. Variation of a set path is nice. Although it is tough for solo players. Iron Banner is still a fun game mode that challenges the player. So I can't say I hate or love it entirely. However the Doctrine has made me rage when I die at large distances from it.

When you actually have a team it's fun, but when you are solo it's possibly the worst IB ever.
-
Hate is a bit strong but it's too hard to come back from loosing to really be a good IB game type.

2 RespuestasI haven't played Destiny for about two months now. I get more enjoyment from reading the forums than playing the game. I'm guessing that as you're playing solo, neither side is playing the objective and your fireteam of randoms are continually getting spawn trapped (which is frustrating as hell). That's why Rift is shit. Why on earth would Bungie make Rift an Iron Banner event?
-
You refuse to find a team? For a team based game? Shoot me your gt (xbone) and we'll pick you up. It's fun if you have a group.

3 RespuestasI run solo and I'm having a blast. Now anyway. Whatever they did to the matchmaking is providing much more enjoyable sessions. I have seen the good and the bad. Example of good, where I ignited 4 rifts in a row and mercy rule was invoked. Example of bad, where I followed one of my teammates as he ran the spark all the way to OUR OWN -blam!-ING RIFT, stood there confused, and then finally started going the right way after I facepalmed.
