It's best not to ask other people what they think about the weapons. Equip all your duplicates and get them upgraded through motes then compare them on dreadnaught patrol. You'll know better which ones feel good.
I've had a few duplicates with excellent rolls but it's something stupid like the sight that decides it, that's why it's best to try them out for yourself.

This is my recommendation as well. Sometimes the weapon is a perfect roll, but the sight, and as much as I try to like it, I just can't. I personally don't like many of the y2 sights. I feel that the field of vision is clearer, but the dot/reticle isn't as precise. I try not to go off what other people say about weapons. Feel them out, you know how you play, others don't. I tend to have duplicates of weapons for a little while, but as I play I see which don't get used, and which I start to rely on.
