How did you react when you killed Atheon and got the Vex for the first time?
I nearly cried... I did Crota's End before I did VoG so a lot of people already ha the Vex but no matter how many times I tried to be VoG, either I never had a team or I got chatterwhite and some shards or energy... When I did get the Vex I was so breathless and i immediately equipped it and got it fully leveled in that one day! What about you guys?

Edit: When it popped up I didn't know at first! Like I knew someone got it but I didn't know it was me and i waited til I got to orbit to see...

Edit: this is like my 5th edit lol... Almost 400 replies in and I had to close the app cuz I was out in public and wouldn't stop laughing at some of these posts! I love all the good vibes coming from this! A lot of people don't have the vex apparently... that must suck

So... My very first vog hard run. The group picked me up from lfg. We built the tower, plunged into the dark abyss to find a well; saved the confluxes, slayed the oracles, and floofed around while pounding the templar into the ground. Then we made the epic voyage down the tunnels and bounced around like ping pong balls. We arrived at the chest and got... Shards. Then we traversed and snuck our way past the gorgons. Afterwards, we failed jumping so many times that we should have been able to walk on our bodies across the chasm. We retrieved the gatekeeper relics and saved the one final conflux. We slew Atheon and all his supplicants. When the rewards dropped I noticed something different. I got a yellow drop. I was rather curious because I had gotten blue and purple drops before but never a yellow drop so I immediately checked it out. In a very confused voice I said "What is this Bex Mythoclast? And is it any good?" Lets just say there was much rage and hatred toward me.

I lost my sh!t because it was my very first HM VoG. It kinda did make anything after that seem disappointing though.

I tried not to react honestly. I got it from my first hard vog completion & the rest of my fireteam was already aggravated that I had gotten a truth & fatebringer, while nobody else got good drops.

I either said 'cool' or 'sweet' maybe 'nice'. Or possibly nothing at all. Not that I wasn't stoked, I was. I just don't tend to get worked up over it or anything

Disapointed, then suprised Not because of mythoclast, its because i was running the relic at the time, which i absolutly love doing. On the second to last run of times vengance, i ended up dying trying to escape the adds, and got really worried that the team would fail. They ended up killing atheon and lo and behold, vex mythoclast appeared, while i was dead. Nobody else got anything good.

heres a true short story Started to run HM VoG trying to get the vex mytho...many tries,hours spent and I see the line at the bottom with yellow writing next to my name...so many runs did i finally get it...nope...my reaction..in serious voice..."damn,still no fricking vex,this sucks"..."well," very casually..."I did finally get my 1st gjallyhorn" got my vex a week or so later with a full team of players where none had one yet so i had some jelly of my new toy
