The name does more than define the gun, the gun was the very embodiment of the name. It was also one of a very few arc burn primaries and it had firefly which made it a very coveted gun. I personally loved it, I know people who preferred vision of confluence but ultimately fatebringer was THE pve gun in fact it probably deserved to be exotic at its height (ace of spades), now I look at it with fond memories and nostalgia. I often think about dusting it off but I never do, I remember it's glory, it's power, it's large mag size and the fast reload speed, I remember the times it got me through, the strikes, the raids, hell I even took it into Pvp occasionally, forever on my hunters hip there to bring the fate of my enemy to a close. Now it's a shadow of its former self, nerfed into the dirt by bungie with the hand cannon "fix", never to be the same again.
