Been playing destiny since Vanilla and I have always pre ordered the game. But I just want to express my opinion. Feel free to take it or leave it. I'm not trying to tell you how to spend your money. But here are my reasons for not pre ordering destiny 2.
- We often say experience is the best teacher. So many things wrong in Year 1 Destiny. It's impossible to hide or lie about. The lags, the glitches, the unnecessary nerfs, the poorly thought out gaming concept, the loot system.
I personally think they should go back to the drawing board and make the game right. Most of us are still willing to give them (Bungie) a second chance. Something that most people never get. How about giving a player what he needs. Instead of forcing him or her to keep grinding for months without any luck.
When the game gets recognition then maybe I'll buy it. But judging from what I'm seeing right now, it doesn't look good for Destiny 2.
EDIT: This post is months old and there has been a huge progress. Judging from what I see so far I'll pre-order Destiny 2. But again there is still room for improvement.

Okay, those things were bad. Not that I'm here to defend bungie, but I don't hate them for destiny one. I didn't hate destiny. I've played since vanilla as well and I personally miss those days. If this next installment is done right we will be playing this one for a long time. If we so, why does it need to be ridiculously easy to get everything? After I was finished with iron banners, and raids, and trials. The chase for drops I hadn't kept me coming back. I hated grinding my a** off in nightfalls and raids only to get a drop for another class. Yet, that also persuaded me to make all 3. Back in the days when nightfalls were super hard with a bunch of modifiers and you would be kicked back to orbit if your whole fireteam died. It sucked, it took time, but it meant so much more to finally get it. It made the raid weapons that much more important and suddenly you find yourself playing everything the game has to offer. We also got exotic drops regularly for nightfalls. They're too easy to get those drops now. I understand a lot of people don't have time to grind like that, but over the years they did a good job of giving you many ways to level up with the rest of the pack. You should definitely still have the ability to play and level up if you own the game yet have limited time to grind. Yet, shouldn't the efforts be rewarded of those that do? Maybe not to be more powerful but to stand out? Have something rewarding that can't be also just bought from Tess? I remember the glitches, glitches suck, but games have them. Two I remember in particular were the Crota and atheon cheeses. That's when raids took a while and there wasn't a walk through online the day after the raid released. A big part of there problem destiny had was that they supported both PS3 and 4. Which not only made them waste manpower on outdated systems, it also made them format way too many versions considering both x box1 and 360. Not to mention it limited them as far as content with PS3 and 360 not being capeable of supporting the possible vastness destiny could've been had it been made exclusively for newer consoles. The buffing was probably the worst part. Trends are inevitable, popular o.p. guns are inevitable, the only balance is in a plethora of such. Basically instead of destroying their awesome guns to accommodate casuals make a sh*t ton of awesome balanced guns. A bigger drop pool slows everyone down from getting the same thing. It also promotes players to create an identity and overcome obstacles with the tools at hand. They're money hungry and sold us pieces of the game even though more was done. I agree, but if dlcs that later released had the same glitches they worked through in vanilla the game would be screwed. It would also be too much to go back and fix. I also don't mind them having some sort of direction with the game at release enough to have content waiting on standby. I don't agree with or like they're corporate angle, yet I don't mind paying for not only a fun game, one I can play with my friends, one that I can play as long as I've played, and for the people behind the scenes to continuously have initiative to maintain and develop something I enjoy. I'm definitely going to pre-order. I actually didn't with back with vanilla lol.

This is pretty much every destiny player. They complain about the game and how bad it is, and then immediately pre order it. Destiny is an abusive marriage, and we are apparently going to play it until it kills us.

2 RespuestasLol, why do you even give a -blam!-? I don't understand people like this, you look and sound like the guy on the corner holding the "doomsday is near" sign.

2 RespuestasThey did go back to the drawing board!

1 RespuestaSure, there are some things wrong with Destiny 1. However, for everything wrong there are at least 5 things done right which really make the game enjoyable. If you look at Destiny's core experience it's one of the most enjoyable games out there. Destiny 1 was a period of feedback that involved Bungie learning as to what players like and don't like. I have no doubt on my mind that they took all the feedback and shaped Destiny 2 around that. A lot of people think that any game can be improved with a hot fix when that's nowhere near the case. Sure, weapon rebalancing, bugs, exploits and so on can be fixed but that's just about it. They can't change major parts of the game once it has been shipped. All in all, Destiny 2 will be an awesome experience. I would strongly advise that anyone seriously interested in the game pre-order it since there will be a lot of bonuses.

1 RespuestaEditado por RockFour1: 3/26/2017 2:33:26 PMDestiny 2 has been in the works for a long time; they now have over 500 people working on the *New game. Remember, Destiny 1 included last gen. consoles. but now Destiny 2 supports only PS4 and Xbox 1. Thus, Destiny 2 will not support older gen: Xbox 360 and PS3...sorry people :( Equally as important, Bungie has built an entirely *New game engine from scratch without the limitations of including older gen. consoles which in turn, slows the game down - yes Destiny 2 will be 60 FPS! Hell Yes!

3 RespuestasEditado por Legend of Jordy: 1/17/2016 8:15:52 PMToo late. Already got the Destiny II: Collectors Grimoire Edition. It comes with a unique Hunter Controller which helps with the recoil they suffer because of their weak arms. It doesn't actually come with a Story but it has exclusive Daito weapons and emblem so... 450$ well spent.

Literally won't be investing my time into another great game until holiday. All the butt munching Christmas noobs got the game for 35 bucks meanwhile I payed 100+. So nope. I'll just be around Crucible and until The Taken King Raids. Still an interesting piece of work to me. I dont hate the game, just the shit Bungie is pulling on us. So many fan boys, its hard to voice your opinion. But i mean freedom of speech and shit so i say it anyways. Lmfao.

5 RespuestasIf the game is rated T and is also playable on 360 and PS3 I am not buying it. Requirements: Rated M, 60 FPS, only on Xbox 1 and PS4.

For everyone here crying about destiny lets make this clear. If you thought that bungie/activision cared about destiny in the first place you should have known this not to be true from the start. Destiny 2 was already being talked about shortly after the release of destiny. WARNING! RED FLAG! Yet we all still bought it. We in my opinion have been nothing but testers for the market and game devolopment for destiny 2. What works and what doesnt work. Finding bugs and glitches and other types of broken setups so destiny 2 can be the bandaid to destiny. I personally love the game no matter how bad the rng drop rate is. The thing is, grinding is what makes me play. I am an old school final fantasy guy who would spend 100 hours alone to grind everything to max level even though i didnt need to in order to finish the game but its what i wanted to do just to do it and extend my gameplay. This game has its ups and most definitely its downs. There is though on the other hand, no other game i have ever played that i have this many hours into. No matter how much i could or can complain ive gained the most time in this for my money i have to thank this game for that accomplishment. Again destiny has its ups and downs but if u thought that this was their main focus you should have known from the start and theres no one to blame but us if u keep buying into it. I will most likely buy destiny 2 because i am a sucker

Pre order it

8 RespuestasIf you pre order Destiny 2, you get a pic of Luke and Deej from the hawaii and a video where they are drinking and throwing money on the TV
-
4 RespuestasWell a majority of the people on these forums are either retarded or just plain stupid, so it wouldn't suprise me if bungie just rehash vanilla Destiny for current gen with 60fps and say it's Destiny 2 Most people on these forums will cream there pants and still buy it.

Editado por Franco: 1/17/2016 3:50:37 AMWindu was weak. He let Anakin, the Naive young Jedi convince him not to kill Palpetine, leading to his death. His stupid decision left the force unbalanced. Obi wan was a much stronger Jedi. hence If you wanted to be considered as any Jedi, you would like to be considered obi wan. (Status)

1 RespuestaIt is up to me how i spend my money so yeah i will pre-order Division, Mass Effect: Andromeda , Halo Wars 2 and any other game not associated with Bungie or Activision :D

No way I'd pre-order Destiny 2. I'd wait awhile, read the reviews, Reddit posts, ask friends about it before I'd purchase... If I purchase.

Bump. Ding ding ding we have a winner lol. I never pre order any game. You just never know
