Anyone else miss the old destiny? Before the silver, before TTK, before trials of Osiris.
Days spent exploring the vault of glass, enjoying vex, finding the all mighty G-horn...
Things won't be the same :(

23 RespuestasEditado por Devasstator: 1/13/2016 3:32:13 PMYup. After about 3 weeks with TTK I started disliking year 2 already. The grind is horrendous and playing dozens of hours just to get 1 light higher (without actually changing your light) is stupid and get the hell out of here with "respecting players time more" garbage. That's a lie. Other issues: 1. Strike list is pathetically small and 3 of them you may as well skip over and you've already done them 100 times so it's boring. 2. Enemies really aren't different than year 1. There is actually no new mechanic or strategy required to kill them, just point and dump bullets in. 3. Nightfall is pointless. 4. Dailies and weeklies are pointless with the new structure and grinding rep is even worse than before. 5. Exotics are weak in year 2. Other than a couple notable (usually the most grind time needed to acquire) they are uninspired and don't feel exotic...a bunch are just variations on auto-reloading. 6. End game falls apart quickly. Over 300 light there is nothing to do but a single raid and Trails (if you PVP). Legendary rewards for both are mostly garbage and are used by most people as infusion fodder. 7. Cosmetic only events and microtransactions killed it for me too. I know you don't have to buy them, but they are stupidly over priced, the sparrow book was BS too. It's your money and you do what you want with it, but paying money to then have to grind and grind and grind some more to maybe get rewards you can use is crazy to me. 8. Lack of useful content. Said they stretched themselves to thin in year 1 and then did it again (only worse). Cosmetic events, challenge modes and year 1 weapons ARE NOT NEW CONTENT. They are the same content modified or just thinly veiled justifications to go grind the same small pool of content some more. If this is the direction the game is moving towards permanently and they learn very little with #2 then screw this franchise. Also IF Destiny 2 goes subscription based (like some of the rumors floating around) screw this franchise. They have NOT done a good enough job with the execution of this game to justify it.

You missed destiny back then cos you have only been doing the same strikes and mission for 1 year..you can only do the same shitty missions so many times before you ask yourself what the hell am I doing still playing this game.

2 RespuestasPatrol, public events, passing by the VoG, helping teams form the spire. Then waiving "bye" as they enter the Vault.

3 RespuestasEditado por Packis: 1/14/2016 9:03:27 AMI wish that bungie would get someone like Gordon Ramsay to do a "Studio nightmares" for their building. Gordon: "Hello, nice to see you. So lets get to business, how is the service around here?" Deej: "Great, all guardians are satisfied with our services as it is the best" Gordon: "All guardians?" Deej: "I am referring to the destiny community." Gordon: "Why don't you just say all the customers are satisfied?" Deej: "I have to keep the attitude of a hard badass exotic wielding killing machine" Gordon: "Oh ok so you're just a smartass" Deej: "You aren't wrong" Gordon: "OK then, righto. Lets get to playing this destiny game?" Deej: "Absolutely, right this way" *After Gordon plays destiny* Deej: "Well? what do you think?" Gordon: "Well I've got to be completely honest with you... It was shit. Worst experience i've had in gaming since CoD AW. I'm always being disconnected! There is connection issues with the multiplayer and single player aspects. You give a player a consumable that makes them skip half the game? It's like you feel bad that that content is basically worthless now and you threw them a pity butt boost. if your customers like this shit they are deluded!" Deej: "......." Gordon: "Are you going to respond?" Deej: "I'm advised to ignore negative feedback" Gordon: "Oh my god, how the hell will the studio make the game any better if they don't listen to feedback?" Deej: "We think we know what is best for our customers, like our addition of silver and micro transactions" Gordon: "So you're saying you'd rather -blam!- them than let them receive what they payed for?" Deej: "Hey I don't -blam!-ing make this game"

I just want my blue flames back.

I miss it

Although I do enjoy trials, I do miss the old days...

I have a bit of a hatred for three of coins. It took out the part of the game that kept me actively playing until March

It all sucks

1 RespuestaThe best thing the could possibly do is say 'Hey, we messed up. We cut the story and all the contents people bought the game for. When we create new DLC, we want you to use the new things only, but we see you want to be able to use all of the things ever. We have a intensely opaque façade now, we won't tell you about the future of the game you pay us to make. We think we know everything best, even though we are a minority and clearly don't. To fix this, we are going to revive the original story structure for the next game (let's be honest, its too late for Destiny 1, the future is where its all at). We are always going to stick with the Etheric light principle, however gear from certain activities will come at a higher base light level. Raid weapons gain their original elemental burns, but now upon sharding the gun, it drops the elemental core, to be infused on other weapons, creating no weapon bias. Finally, we are going to start being more open with weekly updates that actually tell you where the game is heading in the future. Thanks for all your support'
lol jk scrubs, just give us more money for silver
I miss a few things about the old Destiny. I need nightfalls to be like Y1 again. Good rewards that are 300-320. Who wants a 295 cloak from a nightfall? Let's be real. Also, the changing of how many weapon parts you can get and the absurd price that the weapon smith is selling them for. Lack of strange coins too. Other than that and a few other unwanted changes, I'm good. I have no problem with silver, TTK, or ToO. VoG is probably still best raid. I bought G-Horn when Xur sold it the second week. Game needs some DLC though.

I miss the old nightfall format, wondering who it's going to be and whether I can go it alone etc. Oh and the xp boost, turning up in the tower with a flaming blue helm...those where the days...sigh

2 RespuestasBungie doesn't care about those of us who have quit.
Mainly because they lap up the leftovers of soggy chodes.
ttk force me to delete it off my xbox, year 1 was the best.

Yup, bump

1 RespuestaThe good old vanilla days... Vex mythoclast, Gjallahorn, VoC, Fatebringer, black hammer....
-
I miss everything. I do enjoy the trials but only on the old maps. None of the new maps are that fun to me for trials...

a lot of the problems or lack of relevant things to do could be fixed with 2 easy changes 1) Make adding Etheric Light an incremental light upgrade to anything - for conversation +10 legendary and +5 exotic 2) add etheric light into the old raid loot tables, nightfalls, and possibly IB/TOO -help offset the crappy triple RNG of KF -get players unstuck from "forever 219" -make Y1 content at least somewhat relevant again and bring some old favorites back into play (most of the perks that made VOG weapons so outstanding were nerfed anyway) example: with +10 it would take 15 EL to take an already maxed y1 item from 170 to 320 if you want a y2 gally you are talking 30 EL we are near the end of anything new for Destiny - may as well have everything back (that you really want/prioritize) to go out with a bang
-
No you don't...
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
TDB and HOW had a better rewarding feel. PoE who goes there anymore Variks please begg Bungie to include you in TTK. With the gear to match it

Editado por AOSUOMI: 1/15/2016 8:02:31 PMI never got enjoyment out of Gjallarhorn. I'm more than happy to not need it ever again.

Back when XP gains was measured in a circle not a diamond. And back when everything worked.
-
HoW destiny was better then TTK, but if you think Vanilla was better then TTK you have foggy memory.
-
Yes so much better than ttk. Ttk has burned me out, the never ending grind for light levels, tedious quests, horrible rng. I had a lot of fun playing it and played it a lot , but the way bungie tries to keep u playing by trying to reach 320 is kinda dumb. I understand you want ur game to seem like it has more content than it actually does, but instead of making me want to grind and play more to reach the levels it's burning me out. I'll play the special events or whatever but I'm going to take a lengthy break.

Yeah 10x better than this
