I chose Sidearms, bit I also use sniper rifles, rarely shotguns, and hardly ever fusion rifles, except he Vex of course.

Been a sniper since TDB for crucible. Most of PvE too. Had a couple of great felwinters tho for pve during HoW. Also had 1 for pvp incase the "stopping power" crucible bounty came up. But me and shotguns is not a great combo. Right now i do have a decent one for Trials if a team is going all rushing with shotguns. But even then i prefer a sidearm over shotguns.

I use a shotgun occasionally, and I don't use a sniper often either. Recently I've just fallen in love with my Conviction IV from New Monarchy (sidearm). It handles beautifully. I also enjoy using Susanoo when I'm on my warlock. The stability on it makes long range blasting a breeze.

5 RespuestasWell, at least I'm not the only one who uses fusion rifles... I'm genuinely surprised, maybe fusion users don't care to vote... FYI, if you use fusions with a slower charge rate, you have more time to setup up for the kill... The Thesean and Hitchhiker are my favorites...

I've been mostly a sniper. But now that strikers are relevant again I've been getting pretty hot and heavy for shotguns and auto rifles.

Shotguns are no longer valuable in PvP. Plus, snipers are needed for almost everything. I've started using my sniper as a shotgun if i'm in a sticky situation. In PvP, you can still get good results with shotguns, but they aren't as reliable and effective as they used to be with shot package. Fusions, well, it mostly depends on your oppononents internet connection in PvP if you score a kill or no hit is registered. In PvE, fusions haven't been useful anymore since the first shotgun buff. I don't like sidearms.

Fusions for me dispite the constant nerfs. Helps that I tend to be a mid-range flanker/rusher so it's the ideal range.

Shotgun as like to use scout or pulse for main so need something to counter close quarter engagement! Plus cant aim for crap with a sniper!! Haha

I like to snipe, always have in fps games. But lately I have been playing around with fusion rifles more often in pve and pvp. They can kill from a surprisingly long distance, if you line you shot up right.

Prefer fusion or sidearm when possible. Fusion less so since they broke the damn things...
