A depressing, yet eye opening, thought
I was playing destiny yesterday after doing my day's studying, so I only had an hour or so. My main thought was to get the bounties done so I could keep getting motes and coins, which of course are used for upgrades and potential exotics, as well as faction rank and heavy ammo...
All of which are simply so that I can continue playing, doing bounties, to get motes and coins, so I can continue playing, doing bounties... You get the picture.
Sorry, Bungie. I started playing a year ago and I've logged a lot of time on this game. Between PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, I've played over 2500 hours.
The game is beautiful. The mechanics are fantastic. Even as limited as it is, it is still amazing, and has infinitely more potential.
But you pissed all over it in the name of money. You let it crumble and decay. The new destiny is a shade of what it was at the beginning, and is growing dimmer by the hour.
I have defended you in these forums when the accusations were unfounded or misguided; I have berated you for countless idiocies. But I have held out hope that you were listening, that what we wrote here makes a difference, that you were actually trying to make the game what it should have been. What it still could be.

So at this point I have to assume, based on the nerfs and balancing and removing of anything that benefited players, as well as the absolute lack of communication from you, that your agenda is your own and the future of Destiny is truly bleak.
That saddens me.
I'm not sure I actually want to know what's coming in the Destiny universe.
And that also saddens me.
But, Bungie, I'll let you in on a little secret:
All I ever wanted - all the community ever wanted - was an answer.

2 RespuestasThe decisions bungie makes baffles me. It's literally like they are doing everything they can to get people to quit this game. I logged on for 15 minutes today. Xur was locked behind the door, once i got it to actually open i bought a helmet engram and received a 310 stag. When i already have 2 310 stags on my character. Logged off and played fallout instead.

6 RespuestasDo you remember Halo Reach, made by Bungie? it was a beautiful story of human endurance through 100 to 1 odds, them being the 1. even though you saved humanity, you fell defending your home, but you took hundreds of alien B******* with you. Remember Black ops 1, made by Activisions sub corporation, Treyarch? It was a harrowing tale of soldiers decades ago and their struggle in under cover wars, spanning from Russian space stations, to Cuba, to Vietnam, to even a secret lair under the ocean, hunting terrorists around the globe. What happened to the companies that created these wonderful games, that I find myself playing to this day 6 years later? my two favorite gaming companies of all time coming together to make this game with endless possibilities and endless fun, that's what I expected from this game, that's what I was told this game would be. I've played since day one. I've played the beta. I tried to give bungie the benefit of the doubt here but I just want my hype back. I haven't learned my lesson either, I'm pre ordering the special edition of destiny 2 when it's announced, playing the beta and I'm going to be at the midnight launch. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

3 RespuestasI don't know that we even needed answers. Just to be listened to and see decisions based on community feedback would have been enough. Something as simple as showing which characters had which fragments for example. This could be updated without saying anything, it couldnt be that hard?

His the middle man and doesn't have a say on anything that happens in this game its just a fact. It's the new devs that are the major problem. They dont know wtf they are doing. The lies! OMG it has drove me nuts... The new devs are so brain dead that they have run out of idea's on how to manipulate the gamers. The SRL was a -blam!-ing insalt to the community. That has to be one of the most disrespectful thing they have done so far. Did i run SRL? NOPE. You know why? I knew right off the bat that it was an attempt to get gamers to come back and grind for usless crap knowing there is no new expansion. Whats hilarious is they use the 320 helmet as bate and it turnd out to be more of a problem then anything else. Bungie -blam!-ed themselves on thay one lol. All of this is because Bungie signed a contract with Activision and went with Activision vision. Bungie did this to themselves, but it hurt the gamers that knew Bungie was better then this and here it is 15 months later and they still lack on showing any respect or appreciation to their community... After seeing everything that we have for over a year and watching this game up until today get worse. You have to say to yourself enough is enough.

1 RespuestaIn reality, I might as well stop playing now and come back in year ten, load my character get a spark of light to take me up to light level 10000 or whatever it will be and voila I'm max level and saved myself some time and money. It's sad, but when you think about it all this grind for 320 stuff is pointless, it's gonna be obsolete by September.

4 RespuestasI'm actually glad that the population is beginning to decline. With this, bungie will finally start taking us seriously. For anyone playing and wanting this game to improve, you need to stop, they won't listen unless this ---> [b][u]$$$[/u][/b] disappears.

3 RespuestasWhile it doesn't solve anything, start a character over. Keep the gear, but start over. At least it feels like you are doing something again and with 3oC around, more chances of exotics. Just remember to only open them on 310+ characters.
