"I am not exactly familiar with any of the current restaurants, I always preferred cooking my own food."

Seems you and me are in the same boat then, this place is still new and alien to me. She yawned and put her hands back down at her sides. So tell me, who do you think the first person i challenge around here should be?
-
"Good question... If I were you, I'd keep that Jay fellow somewhere near the bottom of your list. He tends to use cheap tricks in a battle, and cheap tricks, he knows a lot..."
-
I'll have to devise some plan to trick him instead, possibly to a duel where "honor" is at stake. Her stomach grumbles. Ahhhh, it's hard to think of a good plan on an empty stomach.
-
"Here, I know a place. I'll cook something up for you." He lowers himself so she can climb on his back. "Hold on tight."
-
She laughs and jumps on his back, for a moment she strikes a serious pose and face pointing her forefinger onwards. To Narnia.
-
"Um... to the next best thing?" And there they go, teleporting once more. This time, he took her to a small suburban street. "Wow... it's still here... my old home..." He looked towards what seemed to be an abandoned house, the windows had been barred up from the outside.
-
You're going to make food.... Here? She let herself down walking over and examining the place from afar. You used to live here?
-
"yes. Before the war. This was my home..." He walks up to the door. "heh... seems the security system is still active."
-
Editado por TechnicalEmpress: 1/12/2016 3:57:17 PMSecurity system? Like a trap door, or are some guns going to pop out out? Either way I sure hope you remember the password.
-
"Oh, it will recognize me." Suddenly, out of the window comes crashing a dusty android. "Halt Intruder. Identify yourse--- Master designation detected. Welcome home sir." The door suddenly opens.
-
Ammourette hid behind kor as the Android busted out scaring her. What a subtle system... Can we just go yeah? I'm not really a fan of robots to be perfectly honest.
-
"Come inside, make yourself at home."
-
Editado por TechnicalEmpress: 1/12/2016 7:13:17 PMShe walked inside not trailing too far in case something else wanted to jump out at her. So how are we going to get food here again?
-
"I'll be cooking for you, Ammourette." He walked to the oven. "Feel free to explore the house."
-
Editado por TechnicalEmpress: 1/12/2016 7:15:21 PMMmmm She grumbled looking around at the house, she decided to stay in the immediate area only sitting down a bit further away. How exactly are you going to cook anything in that Bulky suit? Oooohhh unless you can like fry eggs with lasers or something that sounds cool!
-
She saw that the green arm, which had formed into a blade earlier, had formed into two mandibles which constantly swapped shapes into various cooking tools. She saw two empty baby cribs in a nearby room. Along the walls were pictures of a Tau man and a human woman. She had black hair and blue eyes, she was beautiful. They seemed happy. In one of the pictures, she was pregnant. And in another, they were holding two children, beaming with happiness.
-
You married? And had kids? She studied the pictures. The thought of having a family or even falling in love was always pushed to the back of her head, pushed down by her ambitions and goals.
-
"I... I did..." He simply stopped moving. His voice shook, trembling with sorrow. "I... used to..."
-
I won't inquire further, it's obviously a sensitive subject...
-
"No, No, it's alright. Don't mind me, just an old fool reminiscing." He chuckles sadly, returning to his cooking.
-
Well you've accomplished much, i don't think I'll ever get married let alone have kids. Too many dreams to chase and not enough time in to world to complete half of them. She looked back at the pictures. What happened to them?
-
"well, Arin and Jessica, I wish I did know. Sadly, I first died when they were a year old. I don't even know what happenes to Amy..."
-
Hopefully she is with them then, it's not like a ferocious mother 'bear' to abandon her 'cubs'. She leaned back on the couch looking at the ceiling.
-
"I wish I knew... wherever they are, I hope they're okay..."
-
I'm sure they are call it.... woman's intuition. She grinned.
