Welcome to Fox News.
Today, we have a terrifying and disturbing story for you. The violent first person shooter game known only as "Destiny", has once again been found to be inciting America's innocent young children to suicide.
As you may have previously seen, "Destiny" was once investigated by Fox after concerned adults reported their children, if they knew they had failed on an in-game mechanic, were encouraged to "wipe" and thus restart by throwing themselves off the map. This disgusting practice is STILL occurring today, and is polluting our children's minds by glorifying the sin of suicide, despite our exposing of it.
But recently, new evidence has come to light suggesting that Bungie, the evil creator of this so-called "game", has infiltrated it's player's minds with new subliminal technology, planting more messages to commit suicide.
This was found out when a brave Fox reporter played this game, attempting to unravel its complex web of deceit. In the Player versus Player gamemode, the "Crucible", our reporter was constantly virtually murdered by a sniper named the "1000-Yard Stare".
Intrigued by this odd name, our reporter ventured further. He found that the gun was incredibly easy to obtain, but still was one of the best guns to use and finish the game with. Why would the developers want such a weapon to be so readily available? Did they want everyone to use it?
It seems that they did, for in fact the weapon's unique name is actually a hidden acronym. "1000-Yard Stare" is often abbreviated to "1KYS". In the gamer slang, "KYS" is an insult meaning "kill your self".
This name is clearly subliminal messaging. By making the gun so easy to get, and so useful in all situations, they ensured everyone would own it and all the children would be infected by this degrading, harmful message. This is not the first time Destiny has encouraged this, but this development in subtlety means our fight continues.
We at Fox encourage you to boycott this sinful game. It corrupts America's youth, and is directly responsible for a rise in recent suicides.

1 RespuestaNice job stealing this. I remember reading this months ago
-
Breaking news! Bullets kill people!
-
Is there a follow up?
-
2 RespuestasOkay who stole my 1kys joke? Seriously at least give credit

3 RespuestasActually it's liberals who believe video games are a source that lead people to be violent. It's a common theme...blame a game, blame mommy and daddy, blame a weapon, etc..just don't blame the individual. If you ever see a news report about staying away from Destiny it's more likely to be on MSNBC than on FOX.

2 RespuestasDon't get me wrong the Fox News and conservative angle wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility but it's been done. Repeatedly on this forum. Use new material! Honestly the liberal news media would be more believable today with saying something like "destiny gaming has players shooting space aliens and that is one step away from someone shooting up illegal aliens and therefore the president needs to step in and shut down this despicable game." Keep in mind that there was a California Congressman who was a strong proponent of cracking down on video games but that ass hat got caught being corrupt! Shocker right? Corrupt politician!

2 RespuestasThe sad part about this is that there is probably someone out there who actually believes in this. Just a bunch of papers and writing inside a cellar with string going all around the room and bungie just placed in the center.

15 RespuestasFox News is still better than CNN or MSNBC

Lmao, awesome.

Would go better with MSNBC. With all the prison shows and side ways view shows on the youths being property of the state and not their families and such. All in all great b8

I love these posts

I am amazed by the number of window lickers, who took this very witty satire seriously. Your B8 is first R8. 8/8.

For everyone that is going crazy saying Fox News is bad....you also have to recognize that all of the 24/7 news agencies are equally bad. Honestly the problem has more do to with the whole 24/7 news cycle we currently live in. Every news agency is attempting to "outdo" the other to gain more viewers. The result is instead of just news/information being put forth there is more opinion based on the news and the agencies tend to show what will support their anchors more than the actual story. They cut and paste the information they get to try to support their arguments they make. Rather than just tell people what happened they try to go further and give people information to try to lead them to believe one things or another. That being said my one point about Fox News is they at least attempt more so than other to have actual conservative and liberals on to debate the topics together. This is at least better than most other agencies who bring in media matters for their "conservative" view point and dailykos for their liberal view point so that they can have a debate over which of them is more liberal. In the end the best way to do it is to get news from multiple sources and realize the truth likely falls somewhere in the middle of what the two actually say.

6 RespuestasIs this just a humorous "fan fiction" or did Fix News really report this steam pile?
-
2 RespuestasThen CNN follows up with a report on how morally bad it is that you can simply buy guns from vendors in the Tower, without waiting 6-months, and without 12 background checks of you, your family, your dog, and your high school math teacher.

Gr8 b8, fun read

4 RespuestasThe shitty thing about living in the rural south is that EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE watches and believes anything Fox News says. And they believe their slogan "fair and balanced coverage." If I try to speak poorly of Fox you'd be surprised how many hicks flock to defend it. ~Sincerely the only politically neutral fella for miles around.
