Trails of Osiris needs a matchmaking system in the worse possible way. I will say good on you Bungie for implementing bounties to help people get loot but the current state of the Trials community makes it impossible to find teams to participate in the Trials of Osiris. When over 95% of the post go along the lines of the following: "Must have flawless emblem with 1.5 KD or higher will be checking stats", good luck finding a team. It was behavior like this that ultimately led to the nerfing of Gjallarhorn in PvE last year. I'm simply suggesting give Trials of Osiris matchmaking to get you a fireteam if you don't have a full team of 3, elimination which is essentially the same game mode does it with no problem. Obviously in order to attempt to lead a team you will have to be level 40 and at least 290 light, due to level advantages being enabled.
Edit:
From the time this post was made there have been people who want to twist the purpose of this post. This post has nothing to do with increasing the number of people who go flawless its about giving people an opportunity to play Trials of Osiris who otherwise are unlikely to get that chance. The number of people who have gone flawless is much lower than the people who haven't gone flawless and when LFG is essentially excluding the majority over an emblem something needs to be done, if not this game mode is going to become pointless due to lack of players willing to participate in it. If anyone wants to see what happens when a game mode lacks a decent amount of participation look no further than Combined Arms, it doesn't have its own playlist in the game anymore due to a lack of participation.

1 RespuestaEditado por eMpSlOtH: 1/13/2016 4:21:57 PMStart your own team and say " just looking to complete bounties" and you will find people. But if you want flawless dont expect to be carried becauase matchmaking will just pair you with worse people again plus they may quit mid game

1 RespuestaBump! i never tried the trials because i dont have a full team

4 RespuestasBump!! This is not a crazy request. Raids.... Ok, maybe I understand. For trials, this would open it up to more players, easier access to those that otherwise would not play. Iron banner is match made, why not this? Why would Bungie not want more casual people participating in an event, meeting people more easily... Etc. Maybe opening to a new player demographic. Just playing MORE. I really don't get it. They just want the sweaty laggers and try hards playing? I think it's ludicrous this is not a thing!

2 RespuestasBump, and it shouldn't be skill matched. Meaning if you win 8 you shouldn't have to play against someone else who has won 8. Why is it not random? If you go us against someone who is on their 1 who gaf.
-
YES! That way there will be thousands of more scrub teams for us to walk on! Great idea :)

I agree man, I think both raids and trials need to both have matchmaking

5 RespuestasEditado por Ah You Shot me: 1/10/2016 2:45:44 PMIt's not hard to make your own post. Also when I do trials only thing I ask is not to be a kid and be good. Other than that I really don't care for emblems light lvl. It's about cooperation, not so much KD. Working as one is key to victory.

2 RespuestasTrials of Osiris, more than anything else, should never have matchmaking. Bad teams will be put together to battle actual three-person-groups. This will lead to many people getting to the lighthouse unfairly because they destroy these put together teams.

Why does it matter .pvp is a laggy mess

1 RespuestaI find new dudes to play with every weekend... People just get "upset" when they make a post wanting to go flawless and someone joins not knowing the map/sniper lanes and then proceed to get wrecked... If you're new to trials or haven't played all weekend and wanna warm up, join a team just wanting to do bounties Most dudes are running low on coins and don't wanna waste boons (or time) with someone that doesn't know what they're doing... For me the main thing is to be honest upfront with both skill level, play type, and objectives (bounties, warm-up, fun, flawless, scarab emblem...) I'm more than willing to play a few cards with guys who have never played before (I can't carry them to the promise land, but can get them to 5/7 wins for armor/weapon), Im just not gonna waste coins on those cards

5 RespuestasPlease add this..it would make it so much easier to go flawless.....as if it wasn't easy enough. Dude just get a group of friends together and even if you don't go flawless get the bounties done and practice. matchmaking wouldn't fix that issue for you

4 RespuestasEditado por Lil Durk: 1/11/2016 11:11:56 PMI wouldn't have to threaten you with checking stats if scrubs didn't f-cking LIE about their skill levels.

2 RespuestasThe reason why people like me ask for 1.5 KD or higher is because we actually want to go flawless. We don't want to be brought down by someone who isn't good.

2 RespuestasEditado por Queen of Hearts: 1/12/2016 2:19:11 PMI get kicked from every team I try to get into just because I haven't done kf yet :(

4 RespuestasTrials is supposed to be a competive place for elite teams of 3, not a place for people with bad connections to thrive
-
If trials had matchmaking people would just farm match made teams 24/7
-
2 RespuestasTrials would be way easier imo

4 RespuestasMatch making would ruin trials

Editado por BraddyBo: 1/11/2016 10:28:36 PMSure, for the casuals just doing bounties.

8 RespuestasEditado por Dreams0fChaos: 1/11/2016 9:49:35 PMfirst of all, they will not implement this due to some coding, time constraints, money cost bullshit. Secondly, the premades will destroy the random causing you people to run to the forums demanding bungie to implement a system to separate the premades from the random. Now with that out of the way there will be players that still loose to randoms, due to those randoms seam to be good players that have gone flawless multiple times. Now your kind will be in the forums again demanding bungie to implement another system to separate the non flawless players from the flawless random players. Then you will still get your ass kicked by randoms, so your kind will go back to the forums again, demanding bungie to separate the matchmaking to skill level. It will be a never ending ding cycle in which you demand from bungie what you want because you are the most special snowflake in the universe and that no one matters but you. Your entitlement will make you the little boy that cries and cries until you get your way. And all this could be rectified by just going to the forums, recruitment, crucible section, and look for trials of Osiris finder (console of choice) and look for people that are just finding players that want to try it like you. Now here is the kicker. You can ignore the ones that you do not qualify on, and you can post on those as well that you are looking for a team for fun (since you are not competitive at this game and are jus looking to have fun on the only competitive mode destiny has). Stop being lazy and just post or look for the proper players for you. If you see players looking for 1.5 k/d players and you are not that skilled, then ignore them, that is how they want to play the game. They should not have to lower their standards for a special snowflake like you.
