How aim assist and snipers actually works
Aim assist on primaries = bullet magnetism
Aim assist on snipers = Time the reticle slows down on the head
People are complaining about snipers...but snipers are worse after TTK than they were in year one (see my argument in video)
With the nerf of shotguns, everyone is pointing the finger, but people who are talent snipers are getting shit simply because they have practiced...This isn't right.
Is sniping in destiny pretty easy compared to other games? Sure, I'll agree to that.
But to call them broken due to aim assist is a lie.

1 RespuestaI snipe almost every single game and my only problem with snipers now that you didn't really see before (in my opinion) was body shots. Literally non skilled players purposefully go for the double body shot because it's so easy and it's complete bullshit and it's for -blam!-

I like getting used to new guns, I actually love the fact that the game forces you to use different type of weapon. I enjoyed shotguns, I've enjoyed sniping this year, and now I can use both very well. I can use pulse rifles , hand cannons and scout rifle and even auto rifles. I don't think that I am ever underpowered and depending on how the game is going and the set up of the other team I can adapt and use different set of guns. I never feel that the sniper has an advantage over me even in trials. There is always a sneaky way to flank and come behind, not on all maps, but some maps are clearly designed for sniping and some for shotguns. People just need to get out of their comfort zones and actually use different weapons because there is more guns out there that preform better then MIDA or Last word on certain maps. I am not sure what point you trying to make in that video, you just seem to be very angry for no reason. It's just a game all guns have their benefits. 1 thing that I can agree with you that snipers are not really op in my opinion. I am not the best PVP player but I play enough with both shot gun and sniper to be able to make that opinion. If bungie decide to change the way snipers work so be it, I'll just get used to it and adapt, it's what makes this game fun. Put people out of their comfort zones.

2 RespuestasNerf the auto aim all together. I'm tired of trying to recenter on someone's head only to see my reticule jump over to the player next to him. Of course I can turn my auto aim off, but then I'm at a huge disadvantage.

Kind of depends on the game when saying they are easier. For example, a CoD sniper can 1 shot people on a quick scope. And quick scoping on CoD is immensely easier than on destiny. Now granted there is sway on someone hard scoping, but a good quick scoper in CoD can run around the map dominating, rather than only dominate a single lane like in destiny

Very nice video bro, watched it twice to fully understand the concept. I believe the problem isn't the 1k stares aim assist as u mentioned. Rather majority of ppl have lost their "crutch" and are "at a disadvantage". If u notice its main shotgun users that whine, since ppl with actually skill are killing it. What exactly is bullet magnetism though? When u referred to aim assist for primary's. Is it how close each bullet is from the last( I thought that was stability)?
