You just described both warframe and destiny.
You also wrote war frame is 'free to play' but forgot to mention it [u]is[/u] also 'pay to win'.
I enjoyed warframe when I first played (1/2 dozen times) it but didn't have people to play with. Most of my friends from destiny are playing it again (burnt out, hate Destiny loot system, etc) but I don't have the time to start over. Besides I still enjoy Destiny, particularly PvP (I think I'm getting better) and find new players/friends there all the time.
So from my experience I respectfully don't agree.

The best gear in the game is Prime gear which can only be earned in game or traded, you can pay to get ripped off on the in game market but you won't be winning anything.

P2w means that if you pay, you are at an advantage to any non-paying. I can gaurentee you that I will beat any mr2 p2w scrub. And you said being able to trade mods made it p2w? No, that makes it less so, since non-paying players get the paid currency through trade

No, it is not p2w. You cant buy the best gun in the game (synoid simulor), and even if you could, without mods, it is nothing. Try taking an unmodded soma prime against lv20 enemys. It does nothing. You also have to learn how to mod. Soma prime is only good when modded for crits. Otherwise, its a bad bullet hose that does a third the damage of the next gun

Warframe is only pay to win if you choose the easy way out, as you know any and all in game weapons, warframes, sentinels, ships, archwings, and archwing gear can be crafted in the foundry for in game credits and a great deal of time. Slots are increased at key ranking levels so by no means do you NEED to pay platinum for them, and some special weapons like the supra arent even purchaseable with platinum in the first place. The bottom line is platinum may make it easier but near any and all things can be acquired without using any whatsoever, so get your facts straight before trying to be smart next time.
