1k stare has 54 aim assist. Other popular snipers include the raid sniper, with 69 aim assist, and hereafter, with 71. Its very middle tier. You're just mad because of how accessible it is.

What a surprise. A 1000 yard stare user jumping to its defense. Typical. But you know Bungie could reduce the amount of aim assist so people can git gud instead of relying on a crutch.

Editado por Eethen: 1/6/2016 2:37:21 AMYou do realize I'm not defending it right? The difference between this and defending is that I am giving you facts. I never said "OMG ur just bad get gud scrub", I simply stated facts. That's like saying: "I don't like turtles" and I say "they life for a really long time" and you say I'm defending them. Edit: I also don't understand your "get gud" comment. All aim assist does is slow your drag of your scope for a tiny fraction of a second. It's not like a number like 54 is going to make it unbelievably overpowered. Also, you have eye of sol, still piercer and harrowed defiance of Yasmin equipped on your characters. Like I said, Yasmin has 15 more aim assist than 1k stare, Stillpeircer has nearly identical stats to it, though I'm not sure what the exact stats are, and eye of sol seems to have decently high aim assist as well. Also, read this: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/3w7o1g/on_snipers_being_overpowered_perception/

You didn't even attempt to address what he said. Typical complainer.

Because it also has high bullet magnetism? It blows Her Benevolence out of the water for how broken it is. And I do agree it's obnoxious how accessible 1000yard stare is. It needs to be tweaked. There is no reason I should be shot through walls when I'm out of their scope.
-
No sniper has bullet magnetism. The bullets stay exactly where you aim them, right where your reticle is. Aim assist affects the amount of drag your sniper would have if somebody, say, ran past your reticle and you didn't move your right stick. And it only affects it the tiniest of bits. As to what you've been complaining about before, the "sniping through walls" is not a mechanic in the game. It's called lag. it's everywhere and it's always been everywhere and it always will be everywhere. I suggest you get used to it.

Two words: one word: lag. Get over it.
Two words: one word: lag. Get over it.
Someone doesn't know how bullet magnetism or aim assist works.

Two words: one word: lag. Get over it.
Someone doesn't know how bullet magnetism or aim assist works.
You obviously don't, since snipers don't have BULLET MAGNETISM. What you are experiencing is a grade A case of potato wifi, probably yours.
-
Sorry bud. I get around 65mbps wireless :) No lag on my end. Just the shitlords that run around on dial up. Also funny that you claim that. So every time I've been killed around the corner from something it's lag?
-
Are you claiming that a sniper is capable of shooting someone straight through a wall then? Also, yes, I'm blaming it on lag. Have you played Destiny?
-
I actually do, but I'm pretty sure aim asisst doesn't curve around walls. Someone doesn't know how solid objects work.
-
Really. So you should know that both aim assist and bullet magnetism have a role in to why this gun is so broken.
-
Aim asisst does. Bullet magnetism doesn't. The gun is not broken.
-
That's hilarious. It's worse than Her Benevolence which was the go to broken weapon.
-
It's not broken more than her bene. Her bene was around when shotguns ran supreme. So it didn't seem so bad but now that shotguns aren't supreme a decent sniper like the 1000ys is better than it should be.
-
And how was that broken exactly?
