Not ask for nerfs and buffs or changes here, there and everywhere ?.
Does anyone just accept what they're given, not worry about weapon rolls or perks ?
Does anyone not worry about KD or being in the top % of a certain criteria ?
Does anyone not get obsessed with the latest updates, the "must have" weapon of choice and just, you know, play for fun ???
I always thought, somewhat foolishly, that Destiny was a game. I thought it was played for fun.
Turns out it's a job for some who take it way too seriously.
So chill folks and just enjoy the ride.
Happy gaming!!

Well said. Its just those no lifers who have to miserably attain substitute satisfaction to forget about their dismal lives and assure their positions in this virtual world

4 RespuestasNot really, Games stopped being fun in like 2012 for me, I pretty much play games now days just to get that sense of accomplishment or reward that a daily boring work routine really doesn't do without spending too much money on a hobby. :/

2 RespuestasThing is, people have fun in different ways. Some people play because they want to have a laugh, some people play because they want to claw their way to the top, some because they want a game that puts them at the top without them trying. The truth is that many of us play this game to "have fun" but we've lost sight of that. Some people who play the game to claw their way to the top are disheartened when they find a mechanic that seems unfair. Some who play for a laugh don't always have fun on raids because they aren't being serious and they can't figure out how to be serious enough to be coordinated. Some people do everything they can to find the most broken mechanics and exploits and try to get to the top easily, not realizing or not caring that they are using cheap tactics or unfair strategies to win. Simply put, I think that most of us come to this game to play for fun, but we lose sight of that in all the negativity, we lose our ability to enjoy the game when we get gunned down by a shotgun from half a mile away. We're disheartened when we lose a raid and when we get yelled at for goofing around to much. We get angry when someone manages to exploit the game better than we do. Many people have forgotten how fun this game can be because they're to eager for victory. I have high hopes that eventually this game will truly be balanced to the point where people remember that a single bad thing that you don't like doesn't have to taint your entire experience in a game.

Yep say one player I gave a job a life and friends, I play destiny with a beer or wine and enjoy it. Don't really have time for raids but enjoy everything else and would like if I find more time to do the occasional raid in 2016

1 RespuestaI only play for fun. That's the whole point of a game. Mostly the youngsters need their egos rubbed. Much like their long showers.

2 RespuestasYeah just adapt and keep playing
-
1 RespuestaYeah Back when I used to play, now I just on to buy Xur items.

1 RespuestaI just play. It's a game

5 RespuestasGuess what, a Hunter main here that just plays and has fun. Hearing some here on the forums that claim that it is not possible but here i am with the proof it can. So.... How alone am i?

It's the PVP mindset and the goal of a fair plain where everyone has an equal chance to get the same amount of kills and shit. That is too much for bungie to handle. PVe on the other hand gets punished for the effects of PVP. I use to love using the last word or thorn in PVE or even a SunBreaker class. But now since it was too op in Crucible, my PVE experience is changed forever and I don't like it. So I haven't played destiny for more then 10 minutes in a couple of months

1 RespuestaAs long as my team wins in PvE or PvP...I could careless about my K/D. My goal is to do my best to help the team. If I must be the distraction and die doing so...giving my team a surprise attack then so be it. Which is why I also do not care for people "kill stealing"....as long as the enemy is dead...I don't care.

2 RespuestasI don't give a -blam!- about pvp they can do whatever they want just don't let any of your silly nerfs mess up anything else in pve because that is where the only good parts of the game are
-
1 RespuestaActually it is a job, for a lot of content creators. And so is a lot of other games. This is the new fun.

1 RespuestaI play seriously in the sense that I'm serious about sherpaing new players regardless of light into hard mode kings fall 3x a week. Everything else i go goofy lollygagging with an auto rifle and fusion in crucible, and I go flawless n shit. Like damn. The guns are gopd, they just aren't meant to be played the same as other guns.

5 RespuestasDoesn't matter if people ask for nerfs or not. It's basically been proven that any popularized weapons are going to be nerfed. Not all weapons that were nerfed were asked to be nerfed. All weapons that were nerfed WERE popular by community standard though. Take popular PvE weapons for example. They were popular and tons of people had them in their loadouts. Nerfed. Same goes with PvP weapons. The thing is, if you were Bungie, from a business and PR standpoint, would you admit that you nerfed weapons/classes because they're popular? Or would you rather NOT take any heat and instead have the community bicker with each other?

2 RespuestasThe only reason I worry about my kd is that it might get me kicked out of a trials run on lfg. . .
