114 RespuestasEditado por ash: 1/2/2016 8:30:48 AMMy wishlist for a sequel. I love Destiny as it is right now, especially with the improvements Taken King introduced. This is random rambling hopefully gets across the type of game I would like to see Destiny grow into over the years. - Some sort of Faction War.
PVE: Dead Orbit, FWC, New Monarchy and The Darkness could all have a level of "Control" over various patrol zones. If you assist in Public Events, complete beacon missions, etc. you'll help your faction regain control in that area. If you boost your faction's control when they're not in control, you'll gain a personal reward. If your faction already controls the area, your faction will receive benefits while in that zone. Maybe increased spinmetal drops, more exp from killing enemies, a chance for rare items to drop from enemies etc. If the Darkness is winning the war globally/overall, you'll see the Traveller looking especially unhealthy as it hangs in the sky, and the HUB will be less cheery. PVP: If you're wearing a faction class item, maybe you could set it to an "open PvP" node. And that means you can attack anyone who also has open PvP enabled (of the opposing faction/fireteam) while out in Patrol. No rules, it's the wild west. Killing those Guardians will increase your own faction's influence. Maybe there would be a limit on how much PvP influence you can accumulate per week so you can't abuse this.
- Tower gets blown up. New hub is the city.
Everyone evacuates to the City. Story wise, we could have the 3 factions becoming antagonistic in order to sell the whole faction thing. The city would be the new hub. It's at least 2x as big with cool, colourful alleyways, a lush plaza and random NPCs could roam it and have the occasional bounty for you to complete (get rid of the bounty board?). Just make the hub feel more connected to the citizens you're supposed to be protecting. Atm, it feels like everyone's on high and more focused on getting loot than saving the universe.
- A new raid that takes place in the destroyed Tower.
First boss takes place at the vault area and you'll descend into new areas that have never been seen before. Maybe the Tower will reopen for business for those who have conquered the raid (kind of like the Lighthouse) with end-game specific stuff to pick up there.
- And the City occasionally falls under attack (kind of like a public event).
You can enlist to enter a sort of Raid-type activity that takes place in an alternate instance of the City. It could be a Prison of Elder's type of thing. You stave off waves of enemies and then defeat a boss. If you win, the City owes you one and you gain access to some cool stuff. If you fail, you're kicked out to orbit and personally incur a penalty. Maybe the city is a lot bloodier for you and some NPCs supplies are stolen (inaccessible to you until you regain them). You can regain the supplies from random drops from dead minions out in patrol? Or wait until the next invasion when other Guardians will clean up your mess. If many fireteams fail, then the Darkness' influence will increase
- More RPG elements.
Destiny is a solid shooter, but it excels when it fully embraces its RPG side IMO. Raiding, co-operative dungeons, treasure hunting in the dreadnaught etc. are all highlights. On the combat front, I would like to see more flexibility for character builds. More subclass nodes to pick from, to give your character more skills at their disposal. For example, the Vanish in Smoke melee for Nightsalker is great because it gives you a lot of interesting options you don't normally see in FPS games. More abilities like that please. I would love more cooldowns too. For example, if you could "cook" your grenade or melee, and pull off a more powerful, separate ability to your basic melee/grenades. Maybe Stormcaller could melee, but also have the option to hold R1 and release to shoot lightning out of their hands. On top of that, you could pick a perk that makes the lightning defribrilate a downed Ghost to revive them from further away. I'd love to see things like that. Nothing that detracts too much from the solid gunplay, but rather, makes the classes feel genuinely unique with unique abilities.
- Let's have Zavala, Cayde and Ikora join us on missions. Or any other interesting allies.
The biggest absence IMO from Halo to Destiny's misions are the marines. Taken King greatly improved the variety and setpieces of the story missions (hell, some story mission bosses have more mechanics than the year 1 strikes), but I would like to see Cayde using Golden Gun, Ikora using her Nova Bomb, Zavala using Fist of Havok etc. That would be damn cool.
- Everything accessible while in Patrol.
Being outside the vault of glass in patrol, and then having to return to orbit in order to do the raid is kind of silly. I'm assuming there's some technical issue preventing this, but in a perfect world I would like to just roam around Patrol and see story missions, strikes and raids pop up and be instantly accessible. Having a separate "Patrol" of makes it feel like you're playing a watered down mode, rather than exploring a world. Having everything available would really unify the experiences into a single open-world.
- Player housing would be cool. (Think Normandy from Mass Effect)
I'm not asking for Space Combat here, though that would be nice. Instead, I'd like to have a form of player housing. When you kill a raid boss, your ship could have his monstrous head hanging from your wall. It would serve as a nice place to visit (and invite others to see) your trophies, your weapon collection, your sparrow collection, the spoils from Iron Banner and the Lighthouse etc. If your faction is Dead Orbit, you could have Dead Orbit banners hanging from the ceiling. There's quite a lot that could be done with player housing to help us become legend. Ships are currently pointless cosmetic items, new ships could vary in their interior's colour scheme, how pristine or grimy they are, etc. We can work our way from rusty junk to diamond-encrusted luxury space jet and see the fruit of our efforts reflected in our current place of residence.
That's all I can think of for now. Edit: Oh, and Variks moves from the Reef to Earth and has an integral role in the latest story. Because he's epic.

1 RespuestaI want this to play whenever you win a crucible match
-
1 RespuestaMore classes and subclasses +1 more element
-
1 RespuestaCompetitive matchmaking as in league play
-
A suggestion I made in another thread: Legends PvP. Play as the legendary NPCs mentioned in the lore. Similar to DC Universe Online where there is a PvP mode that lets you play as the DC characters(Superman, Batman, Lex Luthor etc.), there should be mode where Destiny does the same. PvP mode where you play as characters such as Cayde-6, Saladin, Osiris and etc.

I know Destiny is a game based on fireteams and cooperation, but I'm a solo player. Always have been and always will. If I screw something up, it's on me, nobody else to pawn the fault on. That being said, I would just love more story expansion that lasts more than a couple days. I love the grind! Maybe like the 'Ninja' suggested with faction disputes. That could be something one could influence on their own. If they make a big move, they'd be rewarded accordingly. Just more for us solo players please. Let us tackle the end game content with fewer adds or whatever, but still requiring solid technical play. Thank you Bungie! You've still got a very loyal fan base that would like nothing more than to see you succeed in your 10 year plan. Keep up the good work!

1 RespuestaReset vendor rolls weekly like they did in year one. Get rid of infusion , private matches and dedicated servers As stated previously. -blam!-ing location based matchmaking now! Very easy to prefer location first than skill second.
-
1 RespuestaI think some "flashback missions" where you play as the vanguard mentor your character is (eg. warlock - ikora) back in the dark ages before the wall went up would be cool. ALSO MORE TEX MECHANICA WEAPONS
-
1 RespuestaCreate an entirely new class

1 RespuestaHow about allowing you to use more than one synth instead of waiting the entire 5 minutes...I'm honestly surprised I haven't seen this one mentioned yet
