I think Xur has become very boring and is only good for his 3oC now but I wish Bungie would change certain aspects to improve him. My ideas are 1 - his location changes are wider. He can appear anywhere in the solar system he can show up on Mars, Venus etc and you have to patrol to find him. Making him harder to track. He should have many locations and not be predictable. Even if he was to move between the Reef and Tower randomly and have better hiding areas then I think it would be fine. 2 - Gear Level - he should bring gear at a higher level for players. Here is the ranges 281 - 290 gear should be 290 291 - 300 gear should be 300 301 - 310 gear should be 310 311 - 320 gear should be 315 This makes him help people level up and worth finding in harder locations. The reason he doesn't give 320 gear is because I think after a certain level (315) high end gear should only drop from end game activities. Overall the feedback is his gear should be 290 3 - Nine Bounties - like every other faction or NPC Xur has his own faction level and bounties. They can range from crucible, strike, collection and raid challenges, on completion of all the quests you get 1 random exotic engram or 2 exotic shards (Dougdlux' idea). The 6 bounties could be - Kill Atheon - Get 10 kills in the Crucible - Complete 5 Strikes - Collect 10 Spinmetal - Defeat 25 enemies with your Super - Complete all other bounties These bounties are only examples so leave your ideas for bounties too 4 - Xur can sell shaders of The Nine. There are Nine shaders of various colors costing 25 strange coins. Colors I would choose are. All black Purple and Silver Green and Silver Red and Blue (for Spiderman lovers) Glowing Red Glowing Blue Glowing Purple Glowing Green Pink but not a bright pink more of a darker pink 5 - Legacy Engrams - More consistency is needed in his Engrams. Week 1 he sells Legacy Helm and Primary, Week 2 he sells Gauntlets and Secondary, Week 3 he sells Chest and Heavy and Week 4 he sells Boots and a random weapon Legacy engram. He also sells Shards for 10 Strange coins for infusion. Just some ideas on how to improve Xur any suggestions on how to improve him? Edit - People want gun shaders too and couldn't agree more. I never understood why they weren't in the game. Edit 2 - When you reach a new faction level with Xur he will reward you with a package which could contain Shards, Legendary weapons, Motes, Strange Coins, 3oC or Shaders. What if there was a Nine Ship also?
