Honestly, infusion is Bungie just throwing the players a bone if you want to keep playing with certain weapons.
TTK is the first DLC were the raid weapons aren't necessarily better than other legendary weapons you've found along the way. So if you get that hand cannon with Fatebringer like perks but it was only 280 light. It can still be viable thru infusion.
It was a better solution than the etheric light mess.

Not even close to accurate kiddo

Etheric light was awesome. I had max VOG, Crotas End, Iron Banner and HOW armor and weapons. I had so many choices on load outs.
-
Yep. Etheric light was for lazy noobs. Noobs I say! They were the participation trophies of Destiny.

Editado por bobswerski: 1/1/2016 2:51:22 PMHuh? Admittedly I haven't finished that many KF for various RL reasons but Im guessing I've probably cleared at least 50 raids since year one and have full sets of raid gear for multiple characters. Confused as to how that makes me a noob but whatevs.

6-25-5 That's how many raids you've completed for each. Just shows you are a Xmas noob.

Played in beta but whatever makes you feel better about yourself, chief. Etheric light was still Ez mode.

Editado por bobswerski: 1/1/2016 8:06:00 PMI farmed those old daily event packages way too hard before each expansion, no doubt about that. The plight of the solo player, lol.

Etheric light was much better than infusion

Etheric light was the best!
