What guns ARE ok to use in Crucible?
I'm seeing tons of threads trying to shame people for using all kinds of weapons.
People clearly get butthurt whenever they are killed by Snipers. We can't use these.
People clearly get butthurt whenever they are killed by Shotguns. We can't use these.
So the most effective 2 special weapon types are off limits apparently.
Scout rifles are apparently for scrubs too, especially MIDA.
AR are ok as far as I can tell, just not the good ones! If you use Monte Carlo, Doctrine, or HL, the butthurt will flow.
HC are for the most part ok, but heaven forbid we use the best one (TLW).
That leaves us with Pulse Rifles as the only "viable" weapon class throughout. Which is absolutely hilarious, as NOT 2 MONTHS AGO everyone was butthurt when they were killed by one of these.
So I guess we all need to switch to the raid AR, bad HCs, Pulse Rifles, Sidearms (but NOT Ironwreath, it's too good!), and Slow-Charge FRs. Is that what I am to understand?

The absolute best part is, when you examine the nerd ragers, they are using the exact same loadouts they are condemning.

The reason people use those guns are because they are pretty much forced to use it

I use Fabian strategy (good if you know how to use it) and got top of leaderboards with a positive kd

The most logical answer is to use whatever weapon is at least effective enough for you to enjoy pvp. It's your game, don't let some butt-hurt internet random dictate what you use.

It's not what guns are and aren't ok, it's the fact that they're overused, there's always a set of guns that have the best stats for the current meta.

I'm using IB Pulse Rifle/ Deal Breaker, Shotty, and HMG.

I run Zhalo Supercell and Havoc Pigeon. (And sometimes Righteous VII+Havoc Pigeon+Thunderlord) People don't get salty with those, and they're effective.

We could have a 12 man Battle Royal with ladders, tables and chairs. So far, I think I've used about 15 different weapons. I like variety. Really depends on the map and my mood. Mercy, Hatchet, Arminius-D, HL, HJ SR4, Jade Rabbit, First Curse, Judith-D Chaperone, Burdon of Proof, Stillpriecer, LLEFELYS-D sidearm Qullim's Terminus, IB Bretomart's Stand, Thunderlord, Choleric Dragon with 3 in the tube.
