Who got the Chaperone legit, without TLW being your weapon of choice?
Seems like you have to get a 3.0 kd to see progress

I got it while ONLY using The Last Word...Didn't know getting streaks with other guns counted towards it

I did, i equipped my last word whenever i had heavy ammo and super ready and bam 10 kill streak

It's simple if you suck with the last word like me here's what you do. Use whatever primary you want. When heavy ammo comes make sure you play it safe and get your damn heavy ammo. I suggest running a legendary heavy machine gun (more kills and not using exotic slot)... Now once you've gotten your heavy ammo go find a nice safe spot with no enemies around. Now switch your primary to last word, wait a while and let the rockets fly. Once you think the coast is clear of rockets go out and play very conservative, and get as many machine gun kills as you can. Now once you are out of ammo, go back and hide and switch back to your other primary. All kills you got with your machine gun count towards the quest. If you do this well and say get about 5-6 kills every heavy ammo run with no deaths while the last word is equipped you will get this quest done in about 4-5 matches.

Equip TLW whilst doing Sri, had it done it 6-8 hours. Just don't blow up.

I did SRL....because Bungie let me do it that way..so it is legit...or did you design destiny so can decide what is legit and what is not...btw been flawless and all the other stuff you can do in destiny. It was just something happening in the background whilst I was racing :)

I used TLW in year 1. I used TLW in ALL of year 2 (IB/Trials) during the PR/shotty meta, and now I still use it. My k/d hasn't really changed throughout all of that, TLW hasn't changed very much at all.

I just gave up on the bounty. Honestly the chaperone isn't even a gun IDE use.

Play passive, assists count so don't worry about just putting a shot into an enemy, running away & hope someone else finishes your job. The best way to get up those percentages is kill streaks so just get that one kill, run away get your health back and then go for one more. You'll get there.

I sucked with the TlW, was getting no where in rumble and control. Ended up in a fireteam with 3 buds on 3 v 3. Ended up doing it in no time. I'll be on later if you want a hand broski. Ain't been on in a while either only popped on the check SRL

I had the last word and a sniper on and it took me like 3 or 4 games I believe. Kill streaks make it go much faster and I had a few relentless kill streaks in those games.

I did, and I hate using hand cannons. Did it about 2-3 months ago, multi kills and sprees were my best friend because it was before they fixed hand cannons, which I suck with.

I got it legit, but with some strategy. I simply played with TLW not equipped and only equipped it in the last 10 seconds of a match we were about to win. Not a quick method, but it does work.

Nope. I did it legit by myself. My KD is nothing. Imprecation is hard though. Mostly because I don't hand cannon much.

I got this done in the first week of TTK when TLW was bad in two games of 3v3. The bounty is not that hard if you get some streaks. Of course now it is child's play as TLW is ridiculous again.

I got through crucible legit I am a mida man since early in year one. It took me a little while to get the hang of it.
