Hardscoping isn't good sniping. It's cowardly.
Waiting around in crouched mode aimed down a snipe lane or high traffic area for someone to walk by isn't sniping.
Running around with a snipe out challenging primaries with quickscopes and no scopes. Pushing and rushing with a snipe. Taking on shotgun kids and quick scoping them in the face from melee distance. Seeing an enemy and then zooming and taking a shot . These are good sniping skills.
Hard scoping is thrash.
Sniping from invisible is trash.
1000 yard =trash.
High impact = trash.
Raid snipes in pvp = trash.

What if people are coming through a long hallway (pantheon) and they just keep going the same way and you keep sniping them cause you know they'll be their, that's when you need to hard scope. Ps quickscoping takes luck.

Hard scope is just regular sniping in all games. Quick scoping is cheap. That's why some games have a lower aim down scope to stop that crap. Destiny should have it the same way. Should never be able to ads that quick on snipers.

You're right. I should just be about that life and only do quickscope sand no scopes. I should not hard scope, the way a sniper is actually supposed to be used.

I've been seeing a lot of people say that hard scoping is cheap lately and I have been getting hate mail for so called "hard scoping" so I wanted to see if this is what everyone thinks Personally I don't think it is. There isn't a hip fire reticule meaning...guess what...YOU HAVE TO AIM. Also think of it as reality. How many times do you hear on the news some guy just wiped out an army quick scoping them. Never. The scope isn't there for style or looks, you are supposed to use it and be more stationary/immobile. If someone is camping in the back of the map with only their sniper then go flank them, you already know exactly where they are. If you get sniped from that angle multiple times that's your fault. After the second time you should pretty much realist they are gonna be camping there the entire time. So please quit saying it's cheap/cheating/cowardly etc cause it's not at all that. They are simply using the sniper the way it should be used. I feel that the only reason people hate it is because with the large shotgun nerf and the high aa yd stare, people can simply camp in the back of the map with their buddies and rack up a portion of kills. This also slows the games multiplayer down which makes the experience boring and even dreadful for some players. I now avoid the big lanes in maps and if I suspect someone is hard scoping I'll crouch and take a quick look around the corner. I used to just sprint everywhere and into big lanes and I took a lot of shots to the dome because of it. So I adapted and now it's not that much of a problem for me.

OP thinks aiming with a sniper is overpowered XD so I guess RL snipers are noobs?
