Crucible is so boring right now and it gets worse with every update. It feels like i would shoot with marshmallows at my enemies. I miss the times when i didnt have much damage falloff regardless of my weapon type(primary) and my bullets would actually hit my target instead of missing it completly. There were only a few exotics that needed some adjustments (vex, thorn) and pulse rifles needed a damage buff. Everything else was perfect. Now fusion rifles are shit, every primary (except for scouts) has too much damage falloff and the bullets arent hitting correctly. Bladedancer is broken etc.
I want vanilla pvp back.

The best thing about the current meta is I can look at 95% of the current weapon pool, and think "yeah, I can use that." Also, damage falloff for everything but Scouts? That's kind of the point. Scouts excel at long range; you see a Scout user, you get in close. If it's a long-range map? Maybe consider using a long-range weapon? Fusions do need tweaking, yes, but I'd rather not go back to release-fusions, which were far stronger than Felwinter's Lie could ever hope to be. I love that there's no "go-to" weapon anymore. I think that's fantastic.

The fact of the matter is that vanilla PvP was the most fun for the most people, regardless if you think it was balanced or not. What we have now, whether you think it's balanced or not (I personally don't), are the remaining pieces of a broken shooter. Almost every single gun type has been stripped and left to rot. Most Autos, Hand cannons, and Shotguns are now worthless. Fusions as an entire weapon type have been obliterated from the game. Scouts and snipers are the only that have been untouched, and for that they are some of the only guns that are still fun and feel powerful to shoot. I agree with you that vanilla PvP was the most fun, and (in my opinion) the most balanced. Autos needed a small nerf, Pulses needed a damage buff, and Special/Heavy ammo just had to be significantly lowered. Select exotics needed some tuning (Vex, Suros, Pocket, Bad Juju, etc). Instead, they've just nerfed everything so many times and I as a Guardian feel weaker than ever before.

2 RespuestasEditado por WAYMAN1194: 12/22/2015 4:05:45 AMRemember when fusions could one shot from REALLY far, remember when all shotguns had felwinters range and felwinters had fusion rifle range? Remember final round Efrideets? Now remember how much special ammo we had back then. Do you REALLY want that back? Like REALLY? People complain about special weapons now. Imagine if we go back.

Too many players wanted destiny be more like CoD, and that's why we have this crucible we see today. I thought the old crucible was way better. Nothing about it was bad at all. The best game mode destiny has now is mayhem.

Can't wait for people to try about the Vex Mythoclast!

Not vanilla, maybe HoW pvp that was the most enjoyable (really annoying sometimes) but very enjoyable

1 RespuestaThis seems to be a cycle. PvP changes, it's great for a week or two, then people adapt and start calling for an older meta to come back, having already forgotten how upset they were during that meta.

You want to play destiny release pvp? You have the memory of a goldfish
-
I think they should reverse all nerfs, for just a week, so everyone complaining realises how wrong they are. That, or the game becomes Modern Warfare 2 which was considered great because everything was equally overpowered.

It sounds like call of duty might be the game for you.

2 RespuestasI've never changed my play-style/ setup and I am still doing just fine. Medium rof pulse with a shotty. The majority of new camping snipers don't know what to do when you flank and push them. Just stay out of the sniping lanes and close distance. That also fixes the damage fall off concern.
