Snipers, are too powerfull...
If you're able to run around with little to no fear with a sniper and are able to get headshots consistently while being riddled with bullets, somethings not right. I know this is a game and isn't suppose to be taken as if it has all real life aspects are in this game, but this is stupid. The crucible is full of snipers just like thorn used to be, to be sort it out Bungie. at least make sniper rifles fair against people who don't want to have to get a sniper rifle out just to compete. I know your afraid to touch snipers because everyone loves snipers and you don't want and angry mob on you but that hasn't stopped you from Nerfing other favourite weapons in the past, why should snipers get a free pass. A slight nerf isn't gonna cut it, like in the past.

The problem isn't that snipers are op, it is the fact that all other weapon types have been nerfed to near uslessness that they are used so much now. However, Bungie has a track record of catering to the people that come on this forum and cry for a nerf everytime they get killed in the crucible. The truth is, if players would just except the fact that some times you just get out played and quit crying for nerfs, this game would be a lot better. Whatever, I am terrible at crucible, it's just to bad that every time you all get your way we suffer for it in PVE. Thanks.

2 RespuestasI use a sniper because i hate shotguns and havent found a fusion i like in ttk however i think most of it could be fixed by taking out the aim assist on them make it the skill based weapon its supposed to be

Snipers aren't unfair, all other secondaries are just getting -blam!-ed by bungie. Snipers didn't change from 2.0, what changed is the fear of shotguns and fusions coming up on you. It's much easier to engage rushers with a sniper body shut/primary combo because lethal range of shotguns is ridiculously low.

8 RespuestasI've played this game since beta so I KNOW how and why people choose the weapons they want in PVP ,it's mealy "because its the strongest choice" THATS ALL not because they enjoy using that weapon type out of pure preferance alone, it's because they want to use what everyone else has, to level the playing field, just look how Thorn turned out, that's is irrefutable and thorn was not the 1st or the last of its kind (can a body say Felwinters lie or 1000 yard state?). yes people will choose a weapon type they like BUT, If another weapon type outshines the one they prefer and constantly lose they won't use it as nearly as often as the "OP" weapon/weapon type that's just a FACT. I'm hating on snipers because people are choosing to abuse the ease of sniping to the point you see no load beyond and 1000 yard stare coupled together, tell when was the last time you saw this combonation during the thorns "golden age"?.....yes I thought so.... you either answered extreamly rarely, or you lied to yourself and said all the time, either way I rest my case.

Snipers are fine. Though, I hate when the practically farm you in like Trials, Elimination, or Skirmish and just snipe you when you get revived. I personally don't have a problem with snipers since I have one at 320 but that farming things kinda sucks ass.

SAME!!! I HATE quick-scopers!!! Snipers are for long range and not in the place of assault rifles! People take advantage of the one hit kill and it drives me nuts!!!!!

It really does, you can't just fire rapidly into the air or hip firing knowing you'll hit something like Auto Rifles and Shotguns. (Although you can be just as skillful with these.) Also, it's usually a 2 shot kill to the body, instant kill if it's in the head. However you have to actually hit the target to get either one of those because Snipers have little to no spread unless you aren't zoomed in, or are firing rapidly, therefore you have to really know how to aim to hit anything. Don't start another post about weapons that aren't even OP calling them OP. That's how we got Handcannons to dominate the Crucible in the first place, everything for the most part is fixed now. Seriously. Shut up.
