BUNGIE: For the RECORD: I was forced to play SRL
OK, just for the record and I'm registered. I was forced to play SRL by the Game mechanics and loot system.
I hate this new addition and I hate playing this random uncontrollable sparrow crap. Descriptions are wrong, my sparrow I got does not have overdrive and when suggested buttons are used it comes to a full stop (the opposite of overdrive).
I managed 2 times to reach the end in time.
I DO NOT want to play this event! I DO NOT want to be automatically registered by the system as a success for this crap. I only take part to get the higher light level that was promised by normal play in Destiny. There is no proof that you can get a higher light level through normal play (no raids), however SRL can give you 318, 320 gear.
So what I do is sit there and wait until it is over to eventually get the higher light level. Funny thing is many users do the same.
So for the RECORD: I do not approve this SRL event. I was forced to play it to get better gear - this is in no way a sign or statement that I liked this event !

Did Bungie sit there with a gun to your head and force you to play it? No SRL does give better gear BUT your not forced to play it and besides outside of the raid or trials, where do you really need to be above 300 light in this game?

Did you or did you not put your cursor over the SRL event and click to play it? If you did then that was your choice to play it, so that by definition was a choice to play that game mode. I rest my case. YOU WANT THE TRUTH YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

You're an absolute moron for the sparrow comment. It specifically says for overdrive sparrows. If you don't have an overdrive sparrow you can't use overdrive. Is it really that complex?

If you don't raid, you don't need higher light gear for anything. Just play Iron Banner when racing ends. Much easier to get 300+ gear that way. And way more fun than racing on the same two damn maps for three freaking weeks.

I got a 320 class item the first race which would have been cool had I not already had one, but haven't seen a single helmet drop. All I need is a stupid helmet and this game refuses to give me one. If and When I finally get one I can almost guarantee it will only be 310 light.

There is nothing in this game that you are forced to play, even patrol. You have the choice to play the game or not. It's truly that simple.
