Pay to win? No. Horribly overpriced? Absolutely. This should be $5-10 tops, it's not even an advantage. The whole game is basically this price.

Personally I don't think it's the end of the world sort of issue. But in a way, it does invalidate some of the work and effort we put into things. Instantly level 25 puts you in line with the Vault of Glass. But how many people are going to do that?

i did the straight to level 25 when i started destiny when taken king dropped, that was different, it was so i could play with all my mates quickly, now going back to the start and going through with a new charcter has been great fun actually levelling up properly, theres no need really, i cant see anyone really wanting to buy this tbh, wayyyyy too overpriced, maybe like $10-$15 to save yourself a couple of days of straight of grinding strories would be worth the money but $45... too hefty!

User is just highlighting how MT is progressing in game and how everyone is quick to defend it. It's changing and becoming a time saver but it's treading the line of buying characters like in wow. It could get to the point where you have a bunch of useless players that bought their way up to your level.
