That's the trials stats for Saturday. Mix around the filters however you want, but so far TLW looks kind of broken. Oh and MIDA was less than 1.19% of all kills. Though not as prominent in trials, Monte Carlo seems like a good choice for every other game mode.
I guess this also means snipers (or more likely special ammo spawns) are kind of broken.

27% of all kills were from snipers 19% from 1000 yard stare. (for the 13th) this is what most consider to be a close range map, so besting conspiracy theory by 10% is pretty impressive. Especially considering many exotics only make up small slivers of the percentage of kills.
if you are having trouble reading the stats think of it this way: handcannons had around 10% of all kills, since TLW makes up 7% of all kills that leaves 3% of other kills to other handcannons.
Edit: may the power of the stats enlighten you. Also use the site to check your stats as well.

1 RespuestaI have contributed to the 0.6 side arm statistic....
-
1 RespuestaThe only problems I have with bungie, is they are too dumb to realize what weapons are op, and what weapons will flail with a nerf. Nerfs all shotguns because conspiracy is too strong --> basically nerfs all shotguns that aren't the conspiracy theory.
-
It's definitely the spawning with special ammo and the abundance of special ammo pickups that is the problem. Nobody should spawn with one shot capabilities in a competitive setting. This isn't CoD.
-
2 RespuestasIt's a small map but it has a lot of open space that welcomes sniping.
-
1 RespuestaAre multiplayer modes are full of snipers now
-
6 RespuestasJust because more people use a gun doesn't make it OP. If it was all on the gun I would trade snipes all the time. Look at the stats two weeks ago, it' was 29 % shotgun and 19 %snipers. Obviously you'll see increase in snipers due to the shotgun nerf. Nothing has changed from snipers Y1 & Y2, so why start complaining now? Dieing too much by it? Same way you were probly dieing by shotguns before then cried for nerf? Come on guys, we are better than this

11 RespuestasThis sniper aims for you!!! It's so dumb
sarcasm
2 RespuestasEditado por Kwrky: 12/15/2015 4:32:24 AMSum them up though and snipes are about same as SG overall. 1000 yrd just looks dominant because of how easy it is to obtain. Props to those heroes still using eirene though :) Also tbh I don't really see drifter as a SG map. Lots of long corridors make SG rushing v tough if your opponent has any sense of distance.

3 RespuestasAfter finally getting my first 1000 yard (That I didn't delete) and using it in Crucible. I'm telling you know that my accuracy didn't improve at all, I could switch back to my Tao or Extra solar and still do just as well (or just as bad I guess). Imo this whole thing about 1000 yard and snipers is BS.

2 RespuestasWatch these two clips. Which one took more "skill"? 1. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/PumaliciouS117/video/13250106 OR 2. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/PumaliciouS117/video/13250136

Still piercer is just as good as the 1000yard so all this means is that a lot of people have the gun. And? It's a common gun
-
The issue isn't with the sniper. The issue is players would rather blame something else rather than admit other players/teams are just better than them.
-
2 RespuestasWell i'm gonna state my opinion. Clearly there is something wrong with the 1000YS. Ever since it came out it has been the backbone of alot of people. When you find whole teams using it, different teams The idea of TLW is astonishing, fun. It serves its purpose and carries it's entertainment. I have no beef with it, neither do I personally like using it because it's too easy. The 1000YS, I find, is REALLY easy to kill with. The impact is high, the aim assist is high, and the scope can be short. Thats something cut out for the No Land Beyond honestly. I have no issues killing 1000YS people. Just like I adjusted to killing thorn and messenger users, I adjusted to these guys too. But it gets boring- rather, annoying to see predictable things like this particular weapon. Kick it out.

The Last Word is a close quarters gun. Trials this week was a close quarters map, it was always going to have the highest amount of kills. I prefer to snipe, and what's the best way to counter Shotguns? TLW
-
TLW has shit for range, as long as you don't charge a dude that can hip fire you have a shot. And this is a good sniping map, plenty of long hallways to outgun a shotty.
-
im scared of hidden links
-
You're comparing one of the few snipers able to res snipe with just one of the many viable shotguns. Doesn't seem strange to me that there's a difference there. Also last word's kill ratio doesn't surprise me, it's nearly perfect for this map both due to close ranges and to counter shotties
-
1000 yard is going through a "felwinter's" phase. It was given to us with good perks, and it is the only of it's impact class with familiar scopes. If more snipers with high impact were introduced, and had year 1 scopes, the stare would start to lose it's lustre.
-
9 RespuestasThere are only 4 snipers in the game, (with enough impact to be viable in trials) one is exotic, one is a hunter exclusive, one has unfamiliar scopes, (rather poor in my opinion and after 12-15 months people don't really want to change) and the final one is given to you for free from a quest. The choice is damn obvious and trials has always favored a distanced ohk. With shotguns being forcibly taken away from players and fusions being non competitive snipers are the best option.

3 RespuestasI love my Erine more

11 RespuestasPeople think MIDA is OP?

2 RespuestasUsed it to look up my Salvage ELO...Ranked 610th.Since the update I can't get shit down,I'm getting outgunned like a newbie and my aim is major bullshit right now.Has anyone else ever encountered something similar?Had that happen numerous times now,3 years ago in COD,even longer ago in Halo etc...

2 RespuestasIt's "logic" like these type of posts, is why we can't have nice things. This is why guns constantly get nerfed/buffed/nerfed. This is why we constantly have to re-grind optimal weapons, and then optimal gear to compliment those weapons. This is why Bungie is laughing all the way to the bank. We allow them to get away with effectively creating "new content" by so-called weapon balancing. The Trials gametype is one that is mostly played conservatively. "The last man standing" and all that. Hence the predominant choice of snipers, being able to kill from afar and without risk of death. The Last Word is a natural compliment to sniper users as it is the only primary that can go toe-to-toe with a shotgun rusher. So naturally, you will see an abundance of snipers and TLW in this particular gametype. I would caution against any assessment that concludes that weapon loadouts should be statistically diverse within each of the specific gametypes. Different gametypes should produce different preferred weapon loadouts, if the gametypes themselves are diverse. In addition, TLW and snipers are most effective if you are highly skilled at the game. Many of the best players use this combo. News flash, many of these players carry other players in Trials each week, and they do so practically the entire weekend (sleep is presumably overrated). Ergo, the use of this weapon combo will be skewed upwards since the people that prefer that combo (the people who carry others) play more Trials than your typical crucible player.
