Pvp feels like complete garbage
What the hell happened?
Flow of matches is god awful and lag is at an all time high. Even games of straight green bar feel terrible at times.
Current state is almost unplayable if you want a remotely enjoyable experience.
Thanks for all the responses, I'm glad that I'm not the only one unsatisfied with pvps current state. We definitely need to let Bungie know when things fall out like this.
I've noticed quite a few comments hinting at skill based matchmaking taking over the general connection based system we've seen for the longest time. I think it would be pretty sketchy for Bungie to do this and say literally nothing of it when we just had a major patch, I guess I wouldn't be too shocked though given the amount of deception we've seen over the last year.
Almost 400 replies guys! Keep supplying your feedback! We all know something is up bungie, we want our game back.

Hey guys, I played trials last night and some how made it through that mess flawless. It might be even worse than 6v6 playlists.

I have 2 accounts on psn and have been running the SRL on both, although I ran my main first to rank 3 and then followed on my alt account (which only had an uncommon sparrow at the time and no race completions) I won every single race I entered for the next 15 games or with a slower lap and completion times than my main from running an uncommon sparrow compared to a legendary. Definitely skill based in my opinion for SRL and seeing as it's a crucible event it's a high possibility that it has carried over to regular crucible too.

I played crucible and loved it then I got to a point where I had improved and felt a little more competitive in PvP...as in wanting to win and also play well....but game after game how well I did in a game came down to lag...I then stopped playing and now I don't know the new maps....so now I have poor map knowledge....so I've lost all interest in crucible.

I played the other night and I'd shoot someone and they'd turn around and kill me then they'd die 3 seconds later from the shots I hit them with. The lag is ridiculous lately.

It's basically just a snipe fest. I had great fun today in Skirmish, killing off snipers with MIDA, having a team of 2 Defenders for the WoL, and having them snipe at the enemy snipers while I snuck around the back and shotgunned them.

My issues with the crucible are 1. Lagging red bar players everywhere. 2. I always get put on teams with people who are clueless and never go for objectives. 3. There's no diversity among weapons. Last word, 1k yard stare everywhere. 4. Too many damn nerfs.

Pvp is shit right now. Can't get into rumble or skirmish without a bunch 3.0kds tryhards using tlw shotgun rushing. They definitely added skill based matchmaking which is good, but what doesn't make it good is all these fgts running around with the most fgt loadouts. Can't even use my sidearm or TFC cuz of these cùnts.

This is the most balanced weapons have been since vanilla. I can use any weapon and do well without feeling at a disadvantage. The only complaint I have is maybe too much special ammo spawning.

I prefer shooters when everyone is using generally the same load out and it is just pure aim and skill that wins gunfights. Now in pvp it feels like the gun play is really inconsistent. You can wreck with a gun one game then the next game the hit detection is way off. All in all pvp is not that great right now, probably the worst it's ever been.

Well with supreme douchebags like these ones. I mean extreme try hards and shit ruins everyone's experience. I'm chilling at airport waiting on a flight home for the holidays and Im watching twitch. I dial up truevanguard and he's in a sweaty. In a tight game both teams wave off heavy. Then a member of the clan he was playing against [Terrified] picked up the heavy to win the game. So if you are ever playing them just back out cause they cheat.
