280 gear at xur is an insult.
Boost the damn lvl of the gear to 320 this is an insult to destiny players everywhere xur has always provided us with high lvl gear its stupid to not raise the lvl 280 is useless now. I have 2 310s a hunter, a titan, and a 317 warlock. Toc does not always drop you what you want perpetuating the grind week after week.

Edit. Im a veteran year 1 player and had almost all exotics except for 3 and they were prison of elders weapons. So i remember the old grind i prefer it to the new frustrating infusing and rng based on light lvl hell

I do infuse to get to a higher lvl guys just in general i do believe he should serve another purpose though other than 3oc if he no longer drops high lvl gear maybe we should be able to buy mini quests for exotics for each class different one each week for different exotics just a thought. Or buy gear based on your existing light lvl.

320 is just retarded 300 tops otherwise you're just basically asking for easy infusion level gear to skip having to really play the game to 320.

As awesome as it is to grind for the most awesome gear of all time, ever, meh. Like a lot of filthy casuals I play a game to have fun. I also have the reaction time of a dead cat, so if you see me come up in the Crucible, prepare for a high k/d for yourself. As such, calm your tits. Stop the stress.

But it's a guaranteed exotic. I'd say raise it to 290, no higher. I usually just buy 3oC from him now, unless he's selling something I really want but don't have.

Definitely not 320. I'd say between 290 & 300. So f[b]u[/b]ck it, we have a deal at 295.

Maybe 290 or 300 but definitely not above that. Xûr is supposed to cater to players that are more new to the game, and giving people at 240 or 250 gear that is at 320 would be ridiculous. If you like the gear he's selling you can infuse it, if you already have it you don't have to buy it.

Wow im met with thats lazy and other rude comments grow up. Xur in year one catered to every player he was the guy you waited all week for because he changed your game if he had a high lvl weapon to help you get over that hump you get stuck on.

Xur's gear is for the midgame player, the 3oCs are for the vets (which also makes it very easy to infuse any 280s into the 300s). I bought the Nothing Manacles this morning and 12 seconds later, they were 295, from a blue infusion. I may bring them higher with some extra 310 exotic gloves I have saved, we will see.

Given all the ways you can get 320 gear now, it probably wouldn't hurt to raise it to 300, but, eh, these days I buy 3oC to get engrams to roll at 310 for infusion anyway.
