280 gear at xur is an insult.
Boost the damn lvl of the gear to 320 this is an insult to destiny players everywhere xur has always provided us with high lvl gear its stupid to not raise the lvl 280 is useless now. I have 2 310s a hunter, a titan, and a 317 warlock. Toc does not always drop you what you want perpetuating the grind week after week.

Edit. Im a veteran year 1 player and had almost all exotics except for 3 and they were prison of elders weapons. So i remember the old grind i prefer it to the new frustrating infusing and rng based on light lvl hell
Edit. Then lets do this rng based on light lvl for xur a chance when you buy stuff it will be at your lvl

I do infuse to get to a higher lvl guys just in general i do believe he should serve another purpose though other than 3oc if he no longer drops high lvl gear maybe we should be able to buy mini quests for exotics for each class different one each week for different exotics just a thought. Or buy gear based on your existing light lvl.

Let's face it if you have three characters over 310 you have enough in the vault to upgrade several 280,s.

1 RespuestaXur is for newer players. He isn't ever going to give you end game loot for a few strange coins. If you are that desperate for 320 gear then run hardmode raid, trials or rank up srl.

280 is fine. You should not be getting high level exotics by buying them from vendors.

11 RespuestasI don't buy gear from xur simply because there aren't enough raid drops (300+) to even raise up a 280 exotic...especially helms. Good luck ever seeing more than 1% of elitest raiders with 315+ exotic helms and it's because oryx never -blam!-ing drops any to be used for infusion. Been doing hard modes since the second week they were out and I've killed oryx on all 3 toons consistently. I've gotten 1 305 normal helm, and 1 310 hard mode helm. I'm aware that some players have done the raid even more than me and have 0 helms to show for it.

I would even be open to a higher price tag for higher level gear. 12-14 strange for 280? I'd pay 20-24 for 300-320.

Rng is the best choice here, you could get a 320 or a 280 you wont be really getting less than before and you can purchase multiple times

The exotics from xur are fine. If the light would be boosted the coin cost should be boosted as well to like 50 or 75 or so. But honestly you csm get the 280 pieces you need and just infuse them.

It still gives people gear at closer to current light level, but preserves the grinding and weekly raid runs. 289 and below, exotics will be purchased at 280. 290-299, exotics will be purchased at 290. 300-309, exotics will be purchased at 300. 310-320, exotics will be purchased at 310.
