280 gear at xur is an insult.
Boost the damn lvl of the gear to 320 this is an insult to destiny players everywhere xur has always provided us with high lvl gear its stupid to not raise the lvl 280 is useless now. I have 2 310s a hunter, a titan, and a 317 warlock. Toc does not always drop you what you want perpetuating the grind week after week.

Edit. Im a veteran year 1 player and had almost all exotics except for 3 and they were prison of elders weapons. So i remember the old grind i prefer it to the new frustrating infusing and rng based on light lvl hell

I do infuse to get to a higher lvl guys just in general i do believe he should serve another purpose though other than 3oc if he no longer drops high lvl gear maybe we should be able to buy mini quests for exotics for each class different one each week for different exotics just a thought. Or buy gear based on your existing light lvl.

I really just want to be able to buy shards again. Maybe for 5 coins a piece that way you can infuse something from 280 up 320 or whatever if you really like it. Plus I'm running low on shards and I don't like spending 13 coins on something xur is selling just to dismantle it for the shard.

320 is just stupid for xur. 300 or very reasonable for xur. Plus it's not meant for you to buy to infuse into other stuff, it's meant for you to upgrade the exotics.

Xurs not a source of increasing your light level. I agree though 280 is too low for high level players. It should be same as 3oC's, 310's for LL 311+.

No thats stupid. It grinds my gears when people say they "earned" exotics, but this is just stupid. You can take the easy way out by buying it from Xûr and then infusing, or getting lucky. Beggers can't be choosers so I suggest you quiet down.

Here's how it should be, have the lower than 280 players get 280 items. Players higher than 280 will see 310 gear. Players above 310 will see 320 exotics.

Then those players who just picked up 220 gear suddenly have the 13 coins to get a 320 exotic. So nope. Keep it the way it is, it's meant for you to infuse the gear because you also couldn't get the gear/gun to drop yet

I agree, the weapons should be according to your light level 289-below gives you 280 290-299 gives you 290 And so on

Xur is meant to be the guy that gives you that exotic you don't have or the one you've been looking for but haven't seemed to be able to get it. Making his gear 320 would eliminate the grind from raids and trials. It'd be a stupid thing from bungie

Definitely should be higher. All the raid is is a source for infusion materials, its basically a weekly chore at this point.

Nah, all you have to do is buy 2 or so of a certain armour or gun and infuse them into other stuff. People would've reached 320 weeks ago

280 is fine. It isn't hard to infuse the gear up once you are over 300.
