Pretty straightforward. My answer is B: Keep as an event.
If that is also your answer, please post below how long and how often it should occur. I think it should be like IB, a week at a time, but not necessarily every month, I think it would be OK if it were only every other month or something.
Regardless, if it stays it absolutely must have more maps. I get that they only made 2 just in case everyone hated it and they didn't waste a ton of resources making 10 maps they'll never use. But it would be pointless to bring back unless there were at least 4-5 maps, IMO.

Keep it. Breaks up the monotonous grind of shooting and running the same content. At least you can push your friends off a cliff or wipe them out before the finish line. Should add the ability to kick said individual next to you off his/her sparrow though.

1 RespuestaI feel keeping it as an event is the only way to justify the drops.
-
2 RespuestasI was taking a nice hiatus from the game but this brought me back and has been fun so I'm all for bringing it back again. - Event rotation sounds fine. Just like IB. Except no resetting our faction progress unless offering REP boosts like IB does. - A couple more tracks (one for each planet at least) - Doesn't really feel like a league in it's current state. - The factions should have sparrows & bounties specific to them. Also, how about something to do with our ships too? They are little more than fancy loading screens, and deserve some love.
-
Remove microtransactions and alternate SLR between Queens Bounties and Iron Banner.
-
2 RespuestasOnce a month for a week. Just like iron banner. Then come up with 3 more so we have an event every week.
-
I picked to keep it permanent, after grinding for hours it's a good outlet for my frustration of not getting an exotic drop.
-
1 RespuestaShould be like iron banner, that would be cool. I say, Every other week should be an event. Iron banner week one. Regular week (weekly crucible) week two. Sparrow Racing League week three. Regular week (weekly crucible) week four. Repeat from week one.
-
Once every four weeks.

I voted Permanent game mode. We invested money in this development, no reason to cut access to it again. After a year I still dont understand why Iron Banner is not a permanent event for people who wants to fight with light level advantage enabled, I still don't understand why racing shouldn't be added for people who like it. Add instead of take, Bungie, you are not Oryx.

4 RespuestasEditado por Gatsuori: 12/10/2015 4:11:17 PMKeep it as a permanent game mode but get rid of the F'N record books. I'm not paying for that garbage. That's the only thing that really pisses me off about SRL. Also make it harder. These races are way too easy. Just copy Mario kart and put power up orbs on maps to make the races more interesting. Speaking of maps, MAKE THEM BIGGER and add more people to a race.
-
2 RespuestasSRL is fine. Take out the shitty drops and the microtransaction bullshit and it's fine.
-
5 RespuestasMaybe do an iron banner thing with it?
-
SRL is fun, but to be a permanent mode would require more stock maps. Being an event could give bungie enough time between events to create 1-2 new maps.
-
Editado por RadiantVoid31: 12/10/2015 4:23:47 AMMake it a 1 week event. Maybe one week after Iron Banner.
-
I would like if they made it a weekly rotation (like mayhem) allowing for a time period where we wait then get super happy when it comes! (logic)
-
1 RespuestaKeep it open permanently with league racing being open once a month. I should be able to practice and get good at it while looking forward to an elimination type league setting every month. I love it so far good job bungie.
-
Bungie. Can you put matchmaking on Raids? I haven't been able to play one yet. Going on communities or websites to meet people to play a raid is the same as matchmaking anyway but much more difficult to get a game. Different topic. I love the SRL. Lots of good loot. Just want some Legendary suits to upgrade to use in the rest of the game. Also I would like to see it return like Iron Banner. Just add a couple more tracks and return Iron Banner to Control.
3 RespuestasI want my fps to focus on just that. I bought this game to shoot stuff, not race my unresponsive sparrow around a poorly made map for hours on end. They couldn't even be bothered to extend the Venus map but instead you're teleported back to the top. That is a joke imo.

1 RespuestaEditado por Optimus96: 12/9/2015 10:48:08 PMI feel like sparrow racing and the Sparrow Racing League should be two separate things. Sparrow racing would be a a normal Crucible playlist with normal Crucible rewards. SRL would be an IB-like event (like it is now) with event specific loot drops.
-
5 RespuestasThe league should be an event but practicing and custom with friends should be a permanent thing, just for fun
-
I think it'd be fun every month or so, do it for two weeks and tweak the rep accordingly. I've heard people are upset with the rep garnered from completing races, but I think it has something to do with how long this event lasts (three weeks versus the one week of IB). Maybe buff the rep earned and shorten the time the event is available. I think it's fun. Let's go.
-
Make it like iron banner or trials where it only comes on one week/couple of days
-
1 RespuestaI was playing last night with friends and almost got the feeling I get from Mario cart only 1 thing was missing...... A way to inflict pain on the other racers...... Maybe a button to kick the speeder next to you or a game mode with heavy sparrows and pikes ???? I would love to be able to hurt the opposition to take the lead.
-
I wouldn't want it to be permanent. It should be once a month for a week like iron banner. So it'd be say iron banner, then no event, then SRL, then no event, and so on and so forth. That way they have room to implement new events if the ideas arise.
