I'm sure you all know these people. Some of you might even be direct culprits. Ready? People who die during bombs sequence. Hunters that die during blight detonation despite having SMOKE Grenades !!! Warlocks that die after detonation and revive right after instead of waiting until after bomb sequence. Sometimes, they'll self res and die a second time. Relic runners who drop a billion stories after getting relic instead of breaking their fall with a plate or an extra jump and then act shocked/ baffled by how they possibly could have died. People who stand directly on top of their blight to the point that they're blinded and finally move about 3 seconds AFTER their name shows up and wonder why they didn't make it back to the aura. People who can't grasp that sometimes, Oryx will juke you out and move one plate down. They're so utterly blown away by this that they don't make it to the correct plate on time, ruining the run for everyone. People shooting their touch of malice inside the shader sequence, only to then by mauled by a thrall. Of course this player usually has the reaction time of a camel in quick sand and it will take about 3 hits before they realize it, and it is already way too late. People who can't jump from their plate to the sister's plate even though every single character can make the damn jump. Some people choose to run on the bottom, right in the direct line of sight of 2 infuriated ogres AND aggressive ads. Relic runners who fall on Your last run and then say, my agility isn't up, or i hate these warlock/titan/hunter jumps. Clueless people at light level 315 who still inexplicably run to the wrong plates or ask "where is it starting"? People who run to your plate on bombs sequence, leaving their plate wide open, get you killed and then don't even have the common courtesy to say shit I really messed that one up, or are tragically/ laughably unaware that they even did anything wrong. People who sit there in the shader round and let oryx slice them despite that everyone yelled 'he's coming in" 50 million times. Titans on top who die even though they have a Damn bubble right behind them . People who somehow forget to run to their blights and then remember after everyone's detonated, run out and get themselves killed and ask heyyyy how did i dieeee? People who are assigned number 1, yet choose to look for ammo seconds before oryx slams, ruining the entire run. Its especially fun when they do it on the last run. Mmmm love it. People who get killed by the ship, even though it makes the same pass at the same time EVERY TIME. People who die on their plates, even though their job is literally to sit and do nothing. People who jump on plates in the wrong order even though they are assigned a number and people yell things such as "1 is on", "2 is on". People who die before the shader round because they wanted a pack of special ammo and are killed by the shade sphere. Relic runners who take an eternity to get back to their team because they bump into every ad on the way there and miss the plate jump about 3 times before finally getting there and we are all seconds from death. So I'm getting a lot of people who's responses suggest that I'm rough on new people or that I require perfection and can't accept mistakes and this is simply not true. I understand that you can mess up. For example, sometimes your ogre is really far away and you're a titan and have no smoke to protect you or no self res to help you come back to life after bombs stop. There is no use in wasting a bubble as you need it for ogre duty and sometimes you will get overrun with ads. It happens. I know that sometimes your blight is too far and you don't make it back to the aura on time because the relic runner isn't aware that you're far away and didn't inch towards you. Mistakes happen, but these things I mentioned above are avoidable. Gimme a break people. This raid has it's mechanics but it isn't brain surgery . if you are guilty of these things, find ways to get it right. And if you wanna be a little Bitch about it, you can always start your own fire team and see how it goes for you. I raided with a level 299 squeaker who got it right his first time doing hard mode. Literally nailed. Not one death. Wanna know why? Cause 1. He listened and 2. He's not a moron.
