Yes it has a tiny bit of relevance but nothing to base an informed argument upon 2. Out of all the mass shootings in America so far this year (355 from last I saw), all these needless deaths of innocent people, how many of them have you seen whether on the news, Internet, or wherever that have been thwarted by some random shooting the shooter. Have you never seen the reports proving that more guns DOES NOT INCREASE SAFETY. Plus pretty sure average people aren't gonna suddenly be like "oh hey a dangerous situation, I'm gonna go jump in and kill another person (even though they're evil)". Do you know anything about the bystander effect. In mass shootings were there are many people present, the likelihood of someone separating themselves from the norm to help is low. Basically how is allowing people having guns a better defence against GUNS then actual gun control that has proven effective in other countries 3. Look at Australia. We had one of the worst mass shootings on record, gun restrictions were enforced hard and since then not a single one has occurred. But nah America is fine, averaging mass shootings almost every day. Thousands of people dying a year because muricans don't know what context means. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure your 3rd Amendment was written a while ago when high caliber rifles didn't exist and you couldn't kill heaps of people in a single magazine. Seriously just dig a hole, shit it in, then bury yourselves in it with your guns with you

Let's compare gun to something like drugs. If guns were banned like drugs than evil people would still be able to buy them just like I can literally go buy some weed right now. Terrorist goes and buys the illegal gun and goes to shoot up a shop or something. In Georgia(not sure about other states) we are allowed to carry a gun around with permits of course. If a person sees someone shooting up a shop then they could possibly stop it with their own gun. If the person doesn't have a gun many more people will be killed. I am fine with guns being harder to get like more tests, more background checks, etc. but don't take away our bear arms - nice pun right?

I think the problem with us is that we treat guns like toys. If we all understand that a gun is a killing weapon, and learn to respect and treat them, then we will go somewhere. I've been raised from a young age how to shoot and use a gun, and I respect them for what they are
