It's a serious question. I bought fallout 4, black ops, and the last of us. I haven't logged into Destiny for a month.
So why do you play? Honestly every single reward from the game is terrible. So you play the same exact strikes and raids for gear that is a higher number and that won't even matter in weeks or months... Video games are suppose to be fun and I don't see how players are still enjoying Destiny. I actually am embarrassed I grinded the same missions, strikes and raids for glimmer, marks and obsolete gear.... Do yourself a favor and buy some new games this holiday season.
Edit 1: This is meant towards day 1 players. The players who have logged in 1000+ hours. If you still grind nightfalls and daily missions every week to get marks and buy silver and go on patrol for bounties; you are addicted. Buy a new game please, I promise it gets better!
Edit 2: Thanks to those that actually answered rather than talk like children.
Edit 3: Haha people getting so mad, it's funny. You aren't going to upset me by talking shït.
Edit 4: I guess people aren't realizing. If you post a negative comment, you get a negative remark. If you post positive feedback, you get a positive remark! Funny how that works!
Edit 5: wow a 5th edit lol... Just wanted to point out how every negative comment comes from someone with 3 level 40s.... Desticles can't handle shït lol

I'm on Xbox 360 and can't afford to upgrade to xbone right now. :(

1 RespuestaEditado por Zeal_Is_Magic77: 12/7/2015 3:04:35 PMSure, I'll get bored and switch to other games (bloodborne and halo), but I play games to have fun and destiny is still fun to me; it's just as easy to come back to. Plus I play with my father and that's always good fun. (And my brother, too)

8 RespuestasIf you don't like it just leave. Why do you feel the need to make the same post that so many before you have?

1 RespuestaEditado por onekilled2many: 12/7/2015 6:09:48 AMI started playing destiny a month after release and tbh I only play it when new expansions come out. I haven't played in nearly a month now because there is nothing to do in the taken king. I haven't even bothered with hard raid cuz it's pointless, same rewards only a higher number.

1 RespuestaFor enjoyment and the social aspect with friends.
yes, some of us still enjoy the game and doesn't bitch about it
TRIALS. And now getting the nice 320 loot from the challenge mode. (I only do the raid up to the challenge). And soon I will test out the new nerfs/patches and will get all exotics again then I will play other games again for a bit during the week and then trials during the weekend

I just enjoy co-op multi-player games. There aren't many options in this category.

3 RespuestasOnce you invest soo much time it's hard to walk away. I feel like I need an ending, without an ending it feels unfinished. So I grind...

Your opinion applies to you. The thousands that have purchased Taken King and are still playing likely disagree. Maybe it's just your tone of text, but to me, it sounds like you're talking down to the people who still play this game, Year 1 players or not. I'm glad you find enjoyment in other games, but please don't try to dampen the experience/opinions of those who still like to fight against the Darkness. If anyone wanted to play a new game, they have done so already, and if they're like me, they still balance Destiny somewhere in there.

I enjoy playing trials with my teammates. That's been it for the past couple weeks. Well, that and iron banner. I'll occasionally do the raid here and there. Other than that, it's been pretty boring. I have a warlock that needs levelling, but honestly I don't feel like doing everything I did on my Hunter and titan for a third time. I'm still not even done on my titan as far as the story goes and all the side quests. TL;DR: Trials/raid.

5 RespuestasEditado por Riven of a Thousand Gecs: 12/7/2015 5:31:25 AMJust got a ps4 as well, and destiny and BO3 came with it for free. Logged into destiny to see how good the graphics look on next gen, and haven't touched it since. It just doesn't seem appealing anymore. Even all the cool lore and stuff that I was addicted to. I just grew out of it, and that kind of makes me sad. I still haven't been more hyped for a game than I was for vanilla Destiny. Now I can't even force myself to care.

I enjoy the actual raid (s). The new infusion system is a horrible idea and most year 2 exotics are worse than legendaries, so I went from a daily player to 2 days a week. Still log in for the raid every tuesday and the new challenge mode is a huge improvement on rewards. Too bad it took 3 months and losing half of their player base.
