ok lets make fusions rifles relevant again
theyre so weak to the point where theyre so darn rare
maybe 1 in 20 people use it in pvp
maybe worse
in pve
people only use the telesto on void burn and thats about it
fusion rifles roll as a shield destroyer on pve in just not viable enough to use them
shotguns are better for that job
and in pvp they just dont have a place
players only use them for fun
to troll if you may
bungie has called them the gun that should replace a shottie in short-medium range
well pulse rifle just melt you outside shotgun range
so whats the use
so here are my suggestions :
for pve :
- fusion rifles do more damage to shielded enemies of there respective burn or even in general
or
- fusion rifles should do more damage to majors( this is just a personal idea , since i see nothing but sniper builds that people use against majors).
this is to just actually make them viable in pve
for pvp :
ok so, time to get serious about fusion rifles
and its time to give them a roll in pvp
here are my suggestions
- fusion rifles do more damage to super activated enemies
( this is gonna get alot of hate , but people have been looking to nerf sunbreakers ever since they came out. bungie dont seem to keen on this , so lets reward an accurate and timed fusion burst with the ability to actually do extra damage to a super user )
- another suggestion would be to just increase damage to fusion rifles in general
they take too much time to charge and just dont kill
put suggestions in the comments and show bungie this
and you never know , they might make fusion rifles relevant again
Edit: thanks for the feedback guys
hopefully after the december nerfs to shotties
fusions are more widely used

Give them shot package! #BringBackShotPackage

hmm Ive been using fusions and sidearms, and i have been gettin 1 shot kills from fusions that are not even 300 I have found that they are better hip fired than ads though and sidearms catch many unaware
-
Maybe just one bolt of energy rather then multiples. Or make the spread really close.
-
The solution is: use them. They outclass shotguns, I regularly get kills at 3-4x the distance of even chaperone. It just takes a bit of practice.
-
I've been using fusion rifles for a long time. Nothing is wrong with them. Just use them at the right time.
-
Oh, I may.

1 RespuestaEver since the TTK dropped, I have been using my Long Far Gone with MD Reflex, Rangefinder, Rifled Barrel and Hidden Hand almost exclusively in both formats of the game. Thing is just an absolute beast. Kill feed triple kills in Trials, easy Phantoms in Rift and clash with it and just melts enemies in the Kings Fall raid. I'd say alot more people would use them if they just practiced with them and got to know their weapon. Once you get into a rhythm with charge time, understand your weapons killing range and fall off, and where to burst for maximum damage, they will melt just about anything.

5 RespuestasI actually use fusions on a consistent basis. Even in ToO as my go-to. I don't know what you've been seeing but fusions are quite strong in my opinion. The Thesan FR4 is to fusions what the Felwinter's was to shotguns or the Shadow of Veils was to snipers. The buffs you are recommending seem to generalized. What I think should happen is a few little things. 1. Partially restore what happened to Acc coils. No one anywhere asked for how you destroyed their usefulness. You can either increase the charge a little with no damage debuff or increase charge a lot with a damage debuff. Both is overkill. 2. Add a few perks to fusions skill tree that belong there. Shot package, take a knee, etc etc. 3. Increase their ability to hit at range just a little bit. Am I saying that it should be on pare with a pulse or scout? Hell no. I'm saying that if you have to get just about as close as shotgun range to consistently OHK then they fail as their roll. I personally think the damage (in PvP) is fine. The Thesan deals a staggering 47-49 damage per bolt. I think that particular model fires 7 bolts as well so... Yeah. Overkill. In PvE I could agree. They seem a little lackluster as they are the only special weapon that can't stun a major without burn active. Hell, even sidearms have better stun potential

Check out my thesan fr4 on my Titan. If it had rangefinder instead of grenadier it would be perfect for me but it's still pretty good

2 RespuestasFusions have always been a boss melter to me. Shotguns and Sidearms have always been mob destroyers. Whereas snipers are used for bosses. Yet Snipers are difficult to use in short to mid range range. Shotguns are useless in mid to long ranges. And thats where fusions come in. They can be used at almist any range. Its like a little panic button (especially for Plan C). Advantages: >dont need to be too close to the target >is hard hitting >strong elemental damage >can also kill mobs with ease Disadvantages: >Cant be too far from the target >isnt as hard hiting as snipers >cant destroy mobs as easy as Shotguns >barely anything has shields >has a charge time.
