Sometimes I take cover around a corner but I still get shot and die through the wall.

Editado por Nash: 11/27/2015 12:11:38 AMPulse rifles are hit scan weapons. If you were out of cover when your opponent pulls the trigger and you manage to find cover before his burst finishes firing, it will still register. It may seem delayed, but you were dead before you moved.

2 RespuestasThis happens when your bullets become Taken; they are no longer bound by extra terrestrial rules like walls.

Green bar lag is the best
-
Bungie is Famous for the Lag. They will not fix the LAG because it is their trademark.
-
Yes and no. I get killed after I shotgun someone and it takes no damage
-
Yes, noticed it over the weekend in IB. I have noticed it before, but didn't think too much of it... but it was happening A LOT to our entire team
-
The Modern Warfare Call of Duty games suffered greatly from the same issues, which was related to poor netcode. I believe that Destiny is made with a similar engine to those games?
-
3 Respuestasthe customers should not be host, if bungie would spend the money we are giving them and host our games on dedicated servers then this wouldn't happen, try playing a raid while the iron banner is at it's peak, it's funny to watch Oryx afflicted with parkinson's disease
-
1 RespuestaYes. Lag.
-
It's called lag. I got fusion grenaded through an interior wall on that reef map with the weird hallways that's reminiscent of halo maps.
-
2 RespuestasQuick scoping is glitching.
-
1 RespuestaWhen IB was at a peak, I got into a match with the worst lag ever. I spawned in, then heard the fusion grenade stick sound. I died from someone across the map inside a building as soon as I spawned. Next spawn I get cross map (not exaggeration actual cross map) shotgunned by them same guy. I'd guess he was host.

2 RespuestasOnly in Battlefield. I believe that's the catch phrase.
-
Ive seen alot of heavy machine guns blasting through walls no lag...penetration problems?
-
Editado por Pack93z: 11/24/2015 7:22:38 PMYes... and the most common denominator... the player doing the shooting is lagging. The hit detection in this game with the latency "balancing" net code is frustrating as hell..

Welcome to destiny not having dedicated servers
-
If Destiny would have dedicated servers, I could at least have fun in the Crucible waiting for new content. It's not the best improvement, I guess, but it would make PvP actually fun. I just hated Iron Banner because the lag is even worse then. A full 2 to 3 seconds can go by and then I'll die to someone who nicked me earlier. It's infuriating because I do no damage to someone, who was visibly shot, and they kill me instead. On a rare occasion, Destiny will remember and say "Oh yeah, you shot that guy didn't you?" and do damage or kill them a full second later.
-
I've heard two different theories on what causes this: 1. Simple lag compensation. 2. "Hitbox trailing" in which the hitbox does not update properly with the character's movements, and thus is still in the line of fire even though the character is behind cover.
-
What did you not get the tracking bullets perk on your guns?
-
Was running by a sniper lane and died when I was WAYYY around the corner and I was like "this fool got aggressive tracking on his sniper bullets"
-
All the time. It's like the servers aren't as good as they should--ah, what am I saying, they're perfect!
-
I think the map balance is out in some areas. As other player can see and shoot me (headshots) but i cannot see them at all (not long distances either) usually around staircases
-
1 RespuestaThis needs to be addressed right away,
-
Billions of lag switches
-
Got shot gunned on the other side of a wall / sniped by a person on the other side of the map on shores of time I was at b zone heavy he was in side the a zone heavy
-
Yay for lag!
